Thank you so much, @Liz_M ! I love everything in my #litsyrecipeswap package so much! The recipes all sound wonderful and I‘ve been wanting to poke through this recipe book forever and can‘t wait to try ever! Thank you, thank you! @BennettBookworm thank for organizing this amazing swap!
Happy Sunday! This is the first recipe I‘m trying from my first ever Ottolenghi book, Plenty. I‘m such a huge fan of his!
This recipe is called the Very Full Tart. My only advice is don‘t put in quite as much veg because it was SO full that the egg mixture didn‘t all make it😂

Time to figure out what to make for Thanksgiving...
Having a cookbook dinner based on Ottolenghi books with friends tonight! 😋😋😋

With my ‘out of control‘ (according to husband) 6-shelf cookbook ‘habit‘, I am fully equipped to serve #dinnerateight or any time for that matter! 😂

1. That's like picking a favorite child😱but one is the tagged book. Ottolenghi is a genius with flavors & veg-friendly dishes.😋
2. It's between bread-like slices so I say, sure! 🌭
3. I would pick Yotam Ottoleghi 😍
4. I racked my brain & can't think of anything that weird. I made a grilled cheese with fontina, tomato, basil+honey🍯on the bread & it was pretty awesome so I'll say that. I like Brie & dark chocolate sandwiches too!😋
#QuotsyJune18 #fusion
Of course you know I'd go with fusion in food and cooking. 🥄😋 Ottolenghi is one of my all time faves and a master of the fusion of cooking styles, cuisines and ingredients. ❤️
The photos in this cookbook make me pine for a #bellyful of everything in here. #Yesvember. @Libby1
#AugustGrrrl #Complicated I've posted about this book & my LOVE of it & chef/author Yotam Ottolenghi before, but when I bought it after it came out in 2011, I spent weeks just looking at it & thinking the recipes looked too complicated. Really, although the ingredient lists can be long, the recipes are pretty simple to prepare & are so delicious! These are some of the recipes I've cooked from it for my food blog. Not complicated at all!😋#cookbook
#day18 #seasonsreadings2016 #bookwithpictures Cookbook edition.....The photography in this veggie-centric book is just so mouthwatering! 😋🍆🍅🌶🍴
#day18 #somethingforsept #booksthatmademehungry #shelfie A pic of my cookbook shelf (on the right), I love to cook for friends.... And also love to read recipe books from cover to cover, so writers like Nigel Slater and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall are favorites.... And always make me hungry 😋
#FunFridayPhoto The book I recommend most is a cookbook. Really, it could be ANY cookbook by Yotam Ottolenghi but Plenty is probably the best intro to his genius. You have to like to cook, be a bit adventurous & want to learn how to combine & layer flavors. His ingredient lists can be long but the recipes aren't hard & the results well worth it. He introduced me to sumac & za'atar & taught me to love harissa & caraway seeds. #cookbooks 🍴📚❤️
Day 14: I read a fair bit of nonfiction, but this spread should show that my #nonfictionlove is cookbooks! I've cooked from most of these & my current project is to cook 5 recipes from each book. I also love reading through them looking for inspiration in the kitchen. #somethingforsept
Perfect warm weather recipe from the perfect special occasion cookbook. Happy Independence Day, America, and please don't screw over the coming election, ok?
