Ok littens serious question time!
Are 1.5 Game of Thrones books enough for an 11 day vacation where I will have anywhere from one afternoon-evening to several to myself?
When Baby Bird leaves your nest empty, your basement turns into a box jungle. As soon as you decide to move, that's the time to start packing; it's also when you finally finishing unpacking the previous move🤦♀️😂

You know you have a book obsession when more the half of your books are packed, you‘ve packed your books to take with you, and your already stressing about your tbr books that your not going to see for a while 👀😳📖📚📚📚
2 boxes, 2 carry on suitcases, 1 giant suitcase, and 1 laundry basket full of books and still have all these books to pack!
I also need to keep at least 10-15 books unpacked so I can keep reading the rest of June and July.
How do you pack up your books?! Any tips?
1. I am an army brat so moving was our thing. How many times? 5 times before the age of 12. That is enough counting. Guess at the rest. 2. I moved from Kansas to Okinawa to Hawaii to Missouri to Korea to Louisiana. 3. 25? More? Not sure. 4. Forever home! 5. Movers in military and the last time I moved. @JoScho
The fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon to beautiful BC later this summer and I am just glad to know she realizes what she is getting into!
Most of you know we've been using cinder blocks and boards for our bookshelves. We listed them on FB to sell, and someone said they could grab them tonight. So, we quickly packed all 1,500+ books and stacked everything outside... hoping this guy actually shows up because it looks like were building a wall. 😂
The hardest part of packing is always the books! I've whittled it down to these four for my holiday trip home (including one from #booktoteswap, gifted by the wonderful @Caffienequeen ), plus my awesome new bookmark from @4thhouseontheleft 📚 ✈️🎄
For the people who won't think I'm insane: My library is finally packed! I'm definitely getting the uhaul book boxes next time! My hubby had already bought these by the time i heard about them, so I used them, but I probably packed them too heavy. Glad we have a dolly! 😂😂😂

I really shouldn't be surprised that I had 7kg excess baggage and had to pay a fee, right? I'm so glad my graphic novels are safe and sound! Also my teacups (wrapped in bubble wrap), fragrances and skincare. Patting myself on the back for a packing well.🙌

Took this shot of my empty bookshelf right before flying off from Singapore to Manila. No books were harmed in the packing process! They were all included in boxes sent home or in my suitcase. During my last trip, I already brought all signed/personalized copies which filled up one small suitcase.

While packing, I came across these bookmarks from my trip to Germany and Czech Republic last 2015. Bookmarks make great souvenirs, right? Perfect for any bookworm. Although I rarely get to use these because I mostly read on my Kindle.

Haven't really been able to join #LitsyPartyofOne because I've been too busy running errands this weekend. Here's a shot of the last of the books that I have with me, which I'm packing into a suitcase. Mostly graphic novels that I didn't want to put in boxes to be shipped from Singapore to Manila. Have I mentioned that I hate packing?

Started packing today. Still have 10 boxes, after purging 4. We're going on a book ban once we get settled into the new place.
I feel like these are a lot of boxes but I still have 3 tall bookcases left to pack (and not very many boxes). Also I am disliking this whole packing business. 😱
