I love when Meg Cabot writes inconvenienced teenagers. This one can see and talk to #ghosts and honestly this had a wild ending! It‘s fun, silly, and perfect for today‘s photo prompt for #scarathlon #ghost #BOOklovers

“Of course, I didn't know how I felt about my first kiss coming from one of the undead, but hey, beggars can't be choosers, and let me tell you something, Jesse was way cuter than any live guy I'd met lately.”

I think I‘ve finished this in about 24hours - it was a very easy read. It was cute but I probably won‘t carry on the series. It warmed up and I did like the characters.

Here is a schedule (if you need it) to help with ur monthly read.

This is one of those times where I think this is just if you like Cabot or not. It‘s not the best book but I still enjoyed it. Cabot always writes funny teens. I love that it‘s something most people might think cool but Suze doesn‘t care for seeing ghost, same concept in the princess diaries books. It was a quick read that made me chuckle, so it‘s a pick more than a so so for me.
#bookspinbingo and I‘m all over the board 😂
I don‘t read a lot of YA novels but this one wasn‘t bad. Suze is a tough but caring kid and I‘m intrigued enough about her and Jesse to continue the series.
Just journaled the book through #bookcrossing and realized I‘ve had this book for 11 years 😳🤦🏻♀️. Beyond time to get it read and get it moving. Yikes.
@Fan_of_70 thank you for all my goodies. I needed this after the week I have had. This will be the next one I start! #bbsredacted
Reading and going shopping for my #bookishbrewswap match on this cold and windy Sunday evening. @Kwrightson1986 have you ever read the tagged series?
I‘m doing a reading challenge this month, and one of the highlighted authors is Meg Cabot. I‘ve had this on my TBR for a while but never picked it up, until now. I‘m actually enjoying it and cracking up quite a bit!
A YA series I loved in high school. I didn't (and still don't) do scary, so these were probably the only books I read with ghosts 😃
@TheFunkyBookworm #YAWednesday
...You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Also, just remembering how I used to buy Meg Cabot books for my sister & then read them as well 😀 👌🏻
These books are fantastic! I read a combined book with the first and second stories together.
The Mediator series is one of my favorite summer and beach go tos! #sweetsummerstack is so fun! Thanks @Liberty !
16-year-old Suze Ackerman has just moved from Brooklyn to Cali. With her, she's brought her black leather jacket & a secret: she's a mediator who helps ghosts (sometimes rather forcefully) to "move on." In sunny CA, she encounters her darkest spirit yet. Can she hack it?
This book is dated, for sure, in terms of references & what was considered PC in 2000. But I surprised myself when I got to the end and realized I wouldn't mind reading another.
There was also a passage earlier in which her mom yelled at her for blasting her music... she was listening to Janet Jackson.
#ilivedit 😂
I didn't realize this was a YA book when I requested it. If I had, I probably would've skipped it.
The first Meg Cabot I ever read was YA...not The Princess Diaries, weirdly (I still haven't read those). It was "Abandon": the first in a series based on the Persephone myth. I was supremely underwhelmed. Thankfully, I gave her another chance and read one of her adult books (from "The Boy" series) and LOVED it.
I admit: I'm feeling very wary. ?
#marchbookstagram I've read this series 2+ times, as you can tell from the peeling spines. However I am missing #6 which I probably loaned to a friend once upon a time...
Okay for what it is. Nothing new as far as the genre goes. However Cabot uses references and language that today's teenagers wouldn't ever use or understand. A 16 year old is not going to understand some one being called "a total Baldwin"
Choosing between #WitchorGhost was hard! I loved the Mediator series by Meg Cabot and I had a crush on Jesse and being as he's a ghost, I went with Ghost today #OctPhotoChallenge
I don't know how I missed this series when it first came out, but I'm so glad I've found it now. I tore through this book in one sitting. Once I started, I just couldn't make myself put it down. Susie is awesome and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
This was a favorite series when I was in high school. Still very enjoyable at 27, despite some dated referenced.
Finished this in one sitting! I can't wait to read the rest of the series. 👓👓👓👓
This has nothing to do with the story itself, but the Catholic school reminds me so much of the one I went to in Phoenix! It's kind of blowing my mind. Lol
Look what just arrived in the mail! 📬 I loved this series when I was younger and have been looking for the original covers I read them in to add to my bookshelves 😍
A teenage girl who wishes she didn't have a supernatural gift befriends two misfits at her new school and also discovers a mentor teaching there? I don't know why so many books I've picked out lately are reminding me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I'm not complaining!
Rereading this series! I loved this series when I was 13 and this copy I have is about 14 years old. I haven't read this book in probably 10 years so I'm really looking forward to reading this series again! 50 pages in so far and still loving it!
