so-soPlot overall was interesting and at least we have some exciting things happening with our beloved characters. But I started losing interest halfway in the book. The book could have ended sooner but it just dragged.

I'm also obsessed with the other bookish gifts I received this year. My mom got me the book nerd earrings, and my grandma got us the AMAZING stamp for us to use in all of our books. The skull is to scare people out of thinking they can keep the books they borrow from us 😜
so-soDone and done! I finished knitting this cowl today and I finished this book. I think that I'm probably leaning closer to a so-so than a pick on this one, although I do give it 3/5 ⭐️. In this third instalment of this series, Tricia finds the dead body again. She's becoming New Hampshire's version of Jessica Fletcher, and I'm hoping that the next book takes a different turn. It's all becoming a little too predictable. Still, I enjoyed it.

pickThe mystery portion is quite good and offers some interesting twists. It's not often I haven't figured out who 'dunnit' before the reveal, so for that this cozy is worthwhile. The protagonist's snobbery and her quick (unnecessary) anger toward police telling her to back off is wearing thin.
pickThis book has some amazing twists and turns! Always have a hard time figuring out the killer!!!
