I am getting sick. But at least I have my favorite book and tv show to cheer me up.
Hello again my Bookish-Drakes 🐉📚
•• #bellesbookishnewyear19 ‘s prompt is #bookselfie / #meetthebookstagrammer .
So here I am with one of my favorite shelves. It‘s full of writerly books and classics such as BN‘s leather bound editions of H.G. Wells and The Complete Collection of Sherlock Holmes.
They‘re gorgeous, by the by.
What‘s your favorite shelf? What books do you collect? Let me know below 🥰.

It has officially been three weeks as of yesterday, since I have gotten tattoo number 4. This quote stood out in my mind when I was reading (and re-reading) my favorite series with my favorite detective. As my life has unfolded, I realized that these words are even truer than I realized. So, I decided to share with my #Litsy family, my #literarytattoo ❤️🖤😱🔎💡📚🐛
I've always enjoyed the Sherlock Holmes stories and Stephen Fry' s narration of this audio version makes it even more so. This Audible version also includes introductory essays by Fry that are somewhat enlightening.
Caveat: I would listen to Stephen Fry read the phonebook with bated breath.
Confession: I actually prefer the TV versions, Jeremy Brett's being the paragon, as in the stories, Holmes is sometimes a bit of a condescending bore.
Planning out my list for #litsyclassics 2018 challenge and this monster counts as like 8 books right?!? 🤣 Stephen Fry tho. I could listen to him read my cereal box. 😘
