This graphic novel memoir features Jacob‘s life as s child of Indian immigrant parents, her role as a wife to a Caucasian Jewish man, and her upbringing of her biracial son in the contemporary political climate. The novel is beautiful, funny, tragic, and extremely raw and emotional. Jacob navigates her identity as an Indian in a white America while juggling her other roles. She struggles on how to parent her son in a post 9/11 world. Powerful.
