This was the last of this series that I'd not yet read, and it was one of the best. Passarella has written several of these, and I feel he writes the characters really well. I liked the story for this one quite a lot and think it would have made a terrific (and gruesome) episode.

KathyWheeler I read one of the books and hated it — I can‘t remember which one — but I‘ve read others since and liked them. 3y

Traci1 @KathyWheeler there was one I really didn't like. Coyote's Kiss, I think. But it was the only one of the set that I just really didn't connect with at all. I didn't care for the story or the characterizations. 3y

Traci1 @GingerAntics same. This one wasn't the best for banter. It took place while Dean had the Mark of Cain, so the mood was more tense. My only complaint about the series is that they never had one with Charlie. I'd have loved to see her working along side the boys. 3y

Traci1 @GingerAntics oh, I'm a fan of anything with peanut butter. You definitely need lemon pie in your life. It's super easy too. 1/2 - 3/4 cup (fresh) lemon juice, one can of sweetened condensed milk, and a small tub of cool whip. Mix together and put in a graham cracker crust. Easy peasy and so yummy. 3y

Traci1 @SeaToSkyes I've read all 17 of them except this one, and other than one or two, they've all been good or really good. They're all by different authors, and some get the characters better than others, but if you like the show, I think you'd enjoy them. 3y
