I enjoyed this third book in the four book series. I read the first as a BR with a friend, meeting at a cafe to discuss. I have read one each December since. I plan to read the fourth, and last book next year.

While I did think the pacing in this one was off, I think it might be my favourite of the series so far. The last 1/3 or so felt rushed - and I would have like a little more time with Bart's return, Kelley's crisis, and the wedding. I really liked Margaret in this installment and the growth that Jennifer, Ava, and Kevin showed was really lovely to read. I don't think we've seen the end of Jennifer's problems, though.

Since last night I‘ve knocked these two off 🤣🤦🏻♀️ the third book, Winter Storms, is the weakest link. It furthers the story along a bit. But Winter Solstice has had me crying in my coffee, tea and Diet Coke! The rabbit hole was worth it ❤️❤️❤️

It feels like Sunday imo so I‘m having a little #hyggehour while my steak pie cooks ( after the last EH Winter book I‘m sure this title forebodes more turbulance for the Quinn family 😫)

Three Winter Street books in 3 days is some kind of record for me. Not much else to say that I haven‘t already said except that I highly recommend this series if you haven‘t read it! 5⭐️ 80 points.

12-25-23: My 103rd finished book of 2023! Book 3 of the series. It was written as if it were the last one so there was a lot of resolutions for the main characters be it in love, marriage, family, war, addiction. This one got me a little bit. I definitely shed a tear towards the end but was pleasantly surprised to see the author decided to write one more book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️📖#️⃣1️⃣0️⃣3️⃣

Elin Hilderbrand gets right inside the heads of her characters. A compelling tale....be warned it‘s dangerously addictive.

I can‘t say enough good things about this series and with every page I fall more and more in love with the Quinn family! I am glad that I get to spend one more holiday season with them! #christmasinjuly

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The third book of this series was still enjoyable, but felt tamer and more somber than the first two. Many story arcs were mostly wrapped up well, if conveniently. It‘s interesting that this was supposed to be a trilogy, but then she added a fourth installment. I didn‘t expect one plot line to go in such a sad direction - I don‘t know if I‘m emotionally prepared for the last book!

I had a fun Christmas reading season! Flight and Winter Storms were my favs. #seasonsreading #tistheseason

Naturally, being so invested, I had to keep going. This one was equally as fast paced drama. What I liked most about this one was that it presented more healing, recovery and self discovery. The drama has depth. Can‘t wait to see how the series wraps up.

I read this entire book today-haven‘t done that in a long time. I love this series so much, way down deep in my soul. It was particularly comforting to me several years ago after my dad passed, and every year when I reread it, something new stands out to me.

Doesn‘t happen very often, but my house is completely quiet right now. Bear is keeping my feet warm while I read. I can hear the wind and rain outside and the Christmas tree lights are on. A perfect Sunday afternoon before a busy workweek🎄🎄🎄

I sped through book 3 of the Winter Street series & am already almost done with book 4. 😬 I‘ve now read the series 4 times & I never get tired of it. It‘s perfect to read at this time of year & I think one of the reasons I like it so much is despite all of the drama in the Quinn family, it is done in a realistic way & makes them seem more like real people. I‘d highly recommend this series! 4⭐️+26

Apropos to this week🙃
I got completely wrapped up in this series! Read the first 2 in January, read the last 2 this month. Great families, relationships, characters. Fun on audio too🎧

Eh, the only thing that kept me listening was the investment I already have in the Quinn family, and wanting to find out if there was a resolution to one of the storylines that started in the first book. See my spoiler comment below for thoughts on that.
The Ava chapters continued to really annoy me. I hope there are less of her chapters in the final book.
#pop21 same title as a 🎶 (Winter Storm by Joshua James)

While this series isn‘t anything incredibly special, they have turned out to be the perfect thing to listen to while I work. It doesn‘t involve a lot of concentration to follow along, and the keep me motivated to keep working 😜.
The Ava chapters though, drive me nuts.

This was supposed to be the last book in this trilogy. We continue with family Quinn drama but in this particular book we are going to see more sad parts than funny ones. Some issues are resolved. Even though we can predict the future of one of the characters, it has an open end. How much I😢but then there is a 4th book. Let‘s see what motivated the author to write this 4th book.3.75/8⭐️#BookSpinBingo @TheAromaOfBooks #Lockdownreadathon @squidget

Never is too late😉Thank you @Kelly_the_Bookish_sidekick
1. Read as much as I can
2. Read and continue work in my agenda/journal.
I should work in taking off the tree🧐will see because Our festivities usually ends with Las Fiestas De La Calle San Sebastián which is on Jan 17. I can leave the tree until then, I guess🤣

This is the third book in the Winter series by Elin Hilderbrand. The drama for the Quinn family continues, some issues from previous books resolve, but new drama unfolds. It almost feels like this one could have wrapped the series up, but there‘s one more book in the series. I‘m glad, because this was my least favorite, even with some of the joyous happenings. This was between 3-4 stars for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

What a great read. I have not found an Elin Hilderbrand book I dont love.

Listening while working in my classroom.

Starting the 3rd book in this series. I love binge reading! ❤️📚

Still no bingos! How is this possible 😆 I have to plan better 😂 Right now I‘m just reading in the order that my holds come in. #bookspinbingo #merryreaders

This Christmas series is such an escape for me. It‘s like a dessert read, and after the year we‘ve had, I feel dessert is in order. I‘m going to hold off on the 4th and final book until closer to Christmas. 🎄

I loved this book just as much as the first two! I love the holiday feel with more substance and just enough of the mushy love. Can‘t wait to read the last book of the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘ve read two books today and on pace to read a third before I go to sleep. This series was exactly what I needed. Any other recommendations for similar page turning happy books are greatly appreciated!

I‘m reading all four books in this series during this holiday season. It‘s been so fun. I love the Quinn family - even if Ava‘s logic and jealousy drives me a bit nuts. I almost hate to start the last book because I don‘t want to let this family go.

Finished #3 in the Winter Series by Elin Hilderbrand. Another fun holiday book about the Quinn family and easy read. I read this one in just a day. This was supposed to be the end of the series, but a 4th installment was written too ❄️🎄

I've had a horribly stressful week and this third book in the Winter series was the only read I could really get myself to focus on. I'm getting attached to this wonky, drama-filled family and their Christmas shenanigans on Nantucket.

I just had to keep going! I downloaded and started this one last night, and finished it today. More ups and downs with the Quinn family for another Christmas. These books have become a kind of Christmasy guiltily pleasure for me.
Just finished this one. This series has been perfect for me this month. I just bought the last book in the series and am starting it today. I love that the author mentioned herself and one of her books in this book!

If you want to take part for all or part of this WS Harper read-a-thon then comment below! 🤗❤️📚

Oh man. The ending of this one made me teary.
I am NOT allowed to crack open book 4 until I get some things accomplished tomorrow!!!

Really took my time with this reread even though Christmas has come and gone. After losing my dad a few months ago, I appreciate patriarch Kelley Quinn more in this installment than I ever before. I love everyone‘s progression as individuals and as family. This isn‘t everyone‘s favorite in the series, but at this moment it is mine. I‘m so glad there‘s another book to read but it is also bittersweet because I always dread the end of the series.

Things get mostly, but not totally, wrapped up for the Quinn family in Winter Storms. I thought this was a trilogy since even Hilderbrand said she was sad to be finished with these characters, but there‘s another book. I still dislike Ava and feel that, though we are supposed to view her as having grown, she never grows beyond a petulant brat (even though she‘s 30 something.) That said, I like the characters enough to read another book about them.

Because I‘m angry (again) right now and need a light read, I got this from the Kindle store even though it means subjecting myself to Ava again.
This didnt captivate me as much as the other 2 did but I still enjoyed it. The ending was the best. I cant wait to get to the 4th one. I'm so happy were seeing Ava be herself and getting away from her former relationships.
Hey all! First post on here! I'm currently reading Winter Storms the third book in the Winter series by Elin Hilderbrand and I'll be There for You: the one about Friends by Kelsey Miller.
I also have a small blog about some of my past reads. Expressionsofabookworm.wordpress.com

My current audiobook. Loving this series and it‘s perfect for the season!

After reading this for the 2nd time, I didn‘t like book 3 as much as I did when I read it last year. I‘m still giving it a pick because I love the series as a whole, but this one felt like mostly boring filler. Only the last 10% or less had to do with Christmas, and that part of the story was rushed. 3.5⭐️ I‘m still going to read book 4 again even though it breaks my heart! 😭💔
#Christmas

‘Tis the season for holiday themed books! 🎅🏻 I didn‘t like this installment of the Winter series as much as I did the first two. Most of the book took place throughout the year and only the last couple of hours occurred during the holidays. Plus Ava was straight getting on my nerves with her man drama. 🙄
When I started this series I didn‘t love how each chapter was told from a different characters perspective. Now I love it, and finally realized its why I can‘t put these books down. The end of each chapter leaves you at the edge of your seat and you want to keep reading to get to their next chapter.
Maybe it‘s the sleep deprivation, but nothing is holding my interest! I have started 3 different books, but don‘t get far before starting the next. Here we go with another...maybe I‘ll finish this one 🤞🏼
