My #scarathlon photo prompt for #monster today! I love this cover!
So amped to finish book 3 in this series 😍 to be honest it probably would have benefited from a re listen to book 2 before embarking on this, some stuff I‘d forgotten but I still loved this I think possibly the most out of all 3. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quite an ending to this series. I thought this one was well done and I appreciated how I didn‘t really know how it would end as there were many twists and turns. A good series overall. #seriesread2022 @TheSpineView

This was a bit too long book and dragged. I had the same feeling that I had after book 2: this should have been a duology.
I liked characters. Or at least mostly - I found some of them annoying. It didn't help that Celia joined with our group in this one.
One twist in the middle of the book started to repete the plot of book 1 but only worse.
This was better than book 2 but not even close to book 1.

I saw tempests to tear apart kingdoms, secrets bared and secrets kept. Secrets drowned in boundless depths.
This series was a bit of a roller coaster, with highs and lows, but overall one I enjoyed it, while stepping out of my usual genres. The first was fast and furious ( definitely a high), the second was agonizingly slow and almost abandoned the series entirely, and the third ended brilliantly. Tears were shed and I fell in love with the characters. Definitely would recommend this series.
The pacing was slow, the characters ran into too many obstacles and time stretched too far between plot points. I‘m glad this final novel wrapped up the storylines as it did. The ending was satisfying, I just wish it hadn‘t taken as long to reach it.

Next is the Chonky 3rd book of the series. A bit behind on my 2021 reading challenge due to grad school and work, but I think I can make it 👍🏻
This was the final book in the trilogy and it was a good end to the whole series. It continues with the group Lou, Reid, Coco and Beau trying to kill Morgane. Of course its not so easy as that. It's over 600 pages so a bit longer than the other books. I could see myself rereading at some point.
My fairy loot copy finally got here. 😊. I‘ve already read the ebook copy because I couldn‘t wait to read it but I am so happy to have this to complete my set.
Already thinking ahead to November and December, these are some books I would love to read.
I haven't stayed up reading until 5 am in awhile. I was 44% through this book when I picked it up last night and I couldn't put it down.
Book #41: I actually enjoyed this more than I expected to. This was a series that I really wanted to love but just couldn‘t fully get into. That being said I did think this was a good final book. I had to start off by listening to a recap of the series because I didn‘t want to reread the previous books, so I was a bit lost on the characters and storylines at first. I do love the found family aspect of the book.
This series has proven to be my favorite. The writing is really good for the YA genre, the story is very good and the characters, I have fallen in love with. This finale was everything I wanted it to be and more. I read it slowly and I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed some tears. I really felt like I was stepping away from a life at the end. I am ever hopeful Mahurin has more stories to share.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow. What an incredible finale. The twists and turns of the plot kept me secured to my chair. Let alone Reid making me want to strangle him for what he did to protect Lou. So many tense feels in the middle of the book. The end flowed very well, impressed what with all that was going on. Epilogue almost made me cry; they found what happiness looks like. After all the pain they went through. Never give up on love and hope, for they prevail through
She whirled suddenly, fists clenched. “I do not need a keeper, Jean. This may come as a surprise, but I can take care of myself. I may be a woman- I may be gentle and meek and refined, like a pretty doll- but I have survived more in my eighteen years than you and my parents combined. Do not mistake me for porcelain. Do not mistake me for weak.”
Literally threw my arms up. She got bite now. I love her character growth so much!!
I stayed up until 2 am to finish this! I absolutely loved this series and was happy with how it ended. 🥰
I‘m so exited to be starting this. For now I just have an ebook copy since idk when my physical copy is coming. Excited to read it though.
You know you have a problem when you have to redo your shelves because of ONE book. This little bastard just cost me two hours of my day because there wasn't space where it needed to go. 🤣🤣 I don't know what I'm going to do when the rest of my preorders release.....
On a different note. Does it bother anyone else that they chose a silver cover for this book? I'm not loving it 🤷♀️

I wanted to take a picture of all three books together because I'm obsessed with their covers...and then Chaplin wanted in on the book excitement, as usual! 🤣😂💕📚 #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #chaplin
Eeeee! Happy Book Birthday to the last book in this trilogy! 🎉🎉🎉 Although I'm super excited to read it, I think I may wait until Autumn because I am already amassing a bunch of witchy, vampy, spooky, cozy books to read during my favorite time of year! Being that it's about witches and magic this seemed like a perfect fit! 😁💕📚
Happy book mail! 😍
Last of a trilogy i believe.
