Clare-Dragonfly I appreciate how Collins drums in that Percy is a jerk and not to be trusted. As though we didn‘t all hate him already, the dog can‘t stand him. Dogs know! Do you think Collins was getting paid by the word like Dickens? That last section was a whole lot of words to say “he gets all her money if she dies first” 😂 And even if he doesn‘t have nefarious plans… this book is still in a high maternal mortality era. 3d
