britt_brooke @kspenmoll This, and Fall and Rise by Mitchell Zuckoff, are the most difficult books I‘ve ever read. The individual experiences humanize the tragedy. It‘s just so hard to imagine. So horrific, yet these stories need to be heard. 💔 4y

We watched a TV show last night on the Smithsonian channel about its museum in DC housing artifacts from 9/11 -some donated, some found.The exhibit is an effort is to preserve its history for other generations, serve as a reminder of ordinary people who died, or acted heroically, & emphasize the event‘s significance to us all. britt_brooke @kspenmoll I hope to one day visit the DC and NYC museums, and to see the memorial. I‘d like to wait until my boys are older and can better understand. 4y

MicheleinPhilly If you do make it to the memorial in NY I highly recommend going as early in the day as you can - like FIRST thing in the morning when there will likely be fewer people. I was appalled and enraged at the number of people taking smiling selfies and basically just clowning around like it was the Empire State Building. 🤬🤬🤬 4y

MicheleinPhilly It was so gross. I went to pay tribute to a college friend that was lost there so I was already emotional but the disrespect just flung me over the edge. I don‘t think I can ever bring myself to go back. 😔 4y
