Birthday bookstack! 😍

#JulyJazz Day 16: #EPluribusUnum is best captured by this picturebook inspired by the author‘s own cultural background: German mother, Indian father, raised in Pakistan, and currently based in the US. It is a lovely exploration of the cultural pluralities of young people that I am glad is now surfacing in recent stories. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-pCe

Happy Birthday Denise!!! Hope you have a fabulous year!!

The antagonist was so strange. But the hero and heroine were great. I loved the way they interacted with each other. The romance was sweet in the middle of something pretty twisted. This presented an interesting twist itself. If you like multi-cultural, inspirational suspense romance, then I recommend this book to you. #readmorebooks #suspense #inspirational #romance #multicultural #standalone
Have you read it? I can‘t wait to read book 2.

Stuck in traffic on the way home but I saw three rainbows that inspired today‘s haiku:
Spotted three rainbows
Traffic jam? No worries, sis!
Watch as nature smiles

Such a sweet book about a girl named Unhei who moves from Korea and is trying to fit in. Her classmates and teacher‘s kindness help her see that her name and heritage are not something that will keep her from making friends in her new school.
