Hurray! I met my #BFCr2 goals: I walked at least 32,000 steps per week and I read 5 books! I‘m almost done with “Home” by Julie Andrews and I would have finished it today, but we were driving to Columbus, OH. Tomorrow we are attending the Irish Festival in Dublin, OH and I can‘t wait. Thank you #wanderinglynn for supporting me in this challenge. It wasn‘t a goal for the #BFCr2, but another goal of mine of losing 15 lbs. since March. I did it!!!

Okay fitness day yesterday! It was a bit of a fight to get the steps in - I had to walk my bf to the train station and back unnecessarily - but I managed it. Maybe I‘m feeling a bit unmotivated but that‘s probably as I had to get up super early to vote in the European elections and this is not gonna be a fun few days to live in Britain...
So apparently it's 15 steps from my kitchen to the living room. It's a start!
Not sure how much book I will be getting done next few days but think there may be a lot of steps as sadly I will be at my fathers wake and funeral today and tomorrow 😞🙏 (I'm ok - he's at peace after being stricken by Alzheimers and Parkinson's)

❄️If time, money, and distance were no problem, I‘d spend the day making fresh tracks in Glory Bowl then cuddle up in front of the wood stove at night with a great book and a cold beer! Ahhh, to be young again with few responsibilities!❄️

I was totally shocked and honoured to win the Thriller Award for Best First Novel for #thefreedombroker at #thrillerfest last night. I wasn‘t sure they were really calling my name and it hasn‘t even sunken in this morning yet! It was an unforgettable and magical evening, made even more so by the friendship of my ITW family, the support of my husband #rjhowe and the warm congratulations of this year‘s Thrillermaster, George R. R. Martin.
