This is a YA novel that centres around high school bullying, finding love, giving you strength & bravery to rise above the bullying & have the courage to stand up to it and speak out. I love that this was written in first person with a friendly conversational tone to it. It makes for a really smooth read that really pulls you in.

Just finished reading it. Ahhhh I didn't wanted it to end! It was so good! I expected there to be more and wondered what was gonna happen to certain characters and how their lives panned out... Oh so many questions! I'm kinda hoping for another book in the series to be honest lol. I blinking love Lou! I think she's an awesome character! I also loved Margot too! She's so kooky and eccentric! At least in my head she is lol.

Finally finished reading Shatter Me last night. Ohhh it was such a good read! For me there was a hint of Divergent and The Hunger Games (minus the whole taking part in the hunger games lol) plus its own originality. Can't wait to find out more about Adam and what he's capable of and can't wait to see Juliette at her full potential. I need, need, need the next book now!

I've just finished reading Gone Girl. That's how it ends?! Really?! It's actually left me feeling quite deflated and disappointed. ? Throughout the book I got so frustrated and just wanted to hurry up to find out how it ends. Then I do and I'm like... "Oh. Meh." Kind of annoyed by it, ya know? Wasn't quite what I was expecting. Very anticlimactic.

Ahhh look what came today! Can't wait to read this to Willow when she's older!

It took a while for me to get into this, but once I had, I loved it! It's a lovely story of discovery and coming of age.

Thoroughly enjoyed Marshmallow Skye so would love to read this and have been wanting to for a while. I finished this last night! I really, really enjoyed it. Some of the English-isms annoyed me as I felt they were put there to bring it home that one of the characters was English but there was no need for it. Other than that, it was a great read!

Only started reading this a few days ago and I'm already on page 295. Been reading loads the past couple of days! That's really good for me of late! I'm really enjoying it. Love a good psychological thriller.

I've been without a phone for just over a week. Finally I got a new 1. I'm back Littens yay! This time I decided to go for a Sony Experia! I wanted the X but the monthly cost was too much so I settled on the XA! It's taking some getting but I'm getting used to it.

Ok, so, I've finally finished reading The Pool. I have to say, I enjoyed it a whole lot more than the previous two in the trilogy! The writing had gotten much better and it was a little spookier too. What I thought was a shame was it didn't delve more into why some of the characters who worked at the inn were a little peculiar. Nearly finished reading the trilogy now. On page 91/169 of The Pool at the mo. So far, I'm enjoying this reread more than the previous two. And completely unrelated... Cheetos! Omg I haven't seen these since I was a kid! I didn't even know they were still being made in the UK! The sequel to Nightmare Inn. Again another 1 for the nostalgic high school me and again it left me feeling disappointed. ? I guess what I look for in a story has changed over the years. Same problems as the previous book. The conversations were incredibly simple too. The main character annoyed me. She was a spoilt brat who wanted everything her way. What I did like was that the chapters were short. Now to read the last in the trilogy, "The Pool".

Ahh I'm so excited! I have a new job! It will be my first time going back to work since having Willow and moving to Wales last year whilst being pregnant with her. So happy! It's only a temp job to cover the Christmas rush but I don't care, I'm still bringing home some pennies! 😃 Also, I thought this book apt for Halloween 👻 lol!

I feel a bit sad because it wasn't as good as I remember when I first read it as a teen. It was very straight to the point, there was no dilly dallying when explaining things & there wasn't much of a back story. I guess that's great for those who just want to get straight in there but I prefer a bit more detail, something to make me feel a part of the story but sadly it just wasn't there for me. 😟 I'm now going to move on to the sequel, Room 13.

Loved it! Perfect for the Halloween season! In the end it was very reminiscent of the movie, Scream which is one of my faves!

I absolutely loved this book! I loved the historical fiction side of it. Definitely want to read it again before I review it.

I really, really wanted this to be a Pick rating but I felt the story took quite a while to get going! I was over half way through the book before things got really interesting. By the end though, I was really enjoying it and looking forward to reading the next one. I'm hoping the second one will be able to pull me in much sooner than this one did.
