Finished this bad boy today and I have to say...not bad? Definitely not as good as the first one but it‘s still a fun ride along quest with some stellar characters. Decent character development, even more quirky pop culture references and an ending that I didn‘t see coming but enjoyed none the less. Fully worth a listen because Wil Wheaton turns totally tubular in a come and go SoCal accent that I personally found hilarious. #nowlistening

Obviously this book is wonderful and perfect like everything else Sarah J Maas writes. I love her ability to write complex characters that we see evolve and grow as people throughout her series. The tension between Aelin and Rowan is hilarious. Their band of friends and rebels are endearing and I want to become a part of this court. I'm hoping in the next book we see the Blackbeaks take off and reclaim themselves.

This book was immensely entertaining. Celaena is so grumpy and I wholeheartedly relate. I love the dynamic between her and Rowan. Maeve lived up to all my hopes about how her character would be written. I cannot wait to get my hands on the fourth one. #heiroffire #sarahjmaas

I started the third book in this series today. I'm quite excited about it. I don't trust a single character in this book. They all have ulterior motives that I can never guess. Usually I'm pretty good at that. It makes this series very refreshing.

I just finished reading the first one of this series, Shadow and Bone, and I loved it. I can't wait to get started on the second installment. It's an easy read with nice twists and turns in the story to keep me enthralled.

It's been a hell of a ride with this guy. I've been listening to it on and off for months now. I love that the author can create multiple realities. They all teach a lesson. It's an inception of class systems and hierarchies. How they form within certain perceptive reality. It makes you think about your own place in a society and mindfully take a step back to look at the bigger picture surrounding your own reality. I hope so at least.

Started a new series co-authored by two of my favorite gals Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. Another odd ball trying to survive in a school of magic with a ragtag band of close friends. This book is reminiscent of Harry Potter but it's just different enough to keep me interested. I'm baking bread and listening since we're being encouraged to stay in our houses. I guess I'll get ahead on my book list for the year.
