It‘s hard to say I enjoyed this book because it‘s all about anorexia, but I did because Zgheib is an excellent storyteller. I loved the character development and was routing for the characters through out!

Just finished the third. This was always my favorite as a kid. I still really enjoyed it especially read by Jim Dale.
I have gotten to meet so many amazing authors at ALA. I was so excited to meet Donna Barba Higuera tonight! I was so excited when she won the Newbery this year! Such an amazing book!
I got to talk to Jason Reynold today! He is such an amazing advocate for literature and I love love love his books!
I had the amazing pleasure of interviewing this poet! She was the first Poet Laureat of Grand Rapids and had just wind awards for her poems in pretty large ways! I loved this book! She has an amazing way of including humor in her poems but also just leaving you breathless
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Misty you are so sweet! Thank you so much for the book, cards, and pad of paper! I love it! I can‘t wait to read this book! 💜💜💜📚 #LitsyLove
This book was so good. I couldn‘t put it down. If I had played my cards right I could have read it in one sitting. The character development was amazing and I learned so much about deaf culture. One of the best I‘ve read this year so far.
A book blog said this was one of the best fantasy books this year so far…I‘m about 100 pages in and so far I completely agree.
My April Bingo! High hopes for this month! Maybe I can accomplish it!
I have never been this addicted to an audio book. I couldn‘t stop listening! It was very culture rich which I loved and a cute little romance.
The prose is this book was beautiful- haunting - so much metaphor there was a part of me that wanted to know what she was talking about but it wouldn‘t have been as powerful
This is from the Pen/Faulkner Longlist. I could have read it in one sitting it was super good! A fast paced mystery: white men linked to past lynchings start getting murdered in ritualistic fashion. The author kept me on the edge of my seat and surprisingly, despite the seriousness, made me laugh with his dry humor many times.
I really enjoyed this! A book in verse about a girl who survived a car crash no one else in her family did trying to move past the guilt of surviving.
I don‘t read a lot of True Crime but I had a hard time stopping this audio book. I was engrossed in the way it was told.
March Spin Bingo! I have failed epically January and February but I‘ve got great intentions for this month! 😜

Thank you so much @Mynameisacolour for the wonderful Valentines swap gifts! Im so excited about the books and all the little things you out in it!!! Sorry this post is a day late!
I found myself so into this book I lost track of time. It was a beautifully written memoir of a Chinese family‘s immigration to American. It was sad and inspiring but just shows how poorly we treat immigrants.
@Mynameisacolour I got the package today! Can‘t wait to open it! Yours should be there Monday it‘s says. #valentinesswap #litsylove
I loved this book! I read it as it may be a contender for the Newbery Medal. I hope so!
This was a light-hearted telling of the end of a marriage. I really didn‘t expect to laugh but the author was so funny and Meryl Streep did an amazing job narrating.
This was so well done! I loved the way they broke it down to subject areas like housing and education. The poetry and short stories in between was a fantastic way to bring emotion and humanness to a lot of information.
The highlight of my bookish year…meeting Gary Schmidt at his house for cheesecake and tea to talk about his book! An amazing man!
I really wasn‘t expecting to like this book but I did. It was a super cute story that had a lot of good nuggets of wisdom in it.
Thank you Lindy for your bluntness, for your humor, and the important work you do for feminism and to combat the fatphobic culture that we live in.
A cute Cinderella retelling meet the bachelor with body positivity. I loved that she didn‘t belittle Cindy‘s body and long for something different
This just came in the mail from Owlcrate! Im so excited to start my bookish 12 days of Christmas on Monday!
This was a really cute book! DiCamillo is usually hit or miss for me but this was a hit.
Yesterday I fake walked for my graduation at my branch! I opted out of the ceremony due to COVID …and well it‘s boring! Lol but I am now done with my Masters of Library and Information Sciences! I‘m a “legit” librarian!!!!
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you so much for the book and notepad! I can‘t wait to start reading it!
I really enjoyed this memoir of his younger life. He had a rough childhood that was heartbreaking at times.
This was okay. I appreciated the idea but I didn‘t really enjoy the follow through.
Every librarian is weeping right now.
I LOVED this book. It felt very Harry Potter…almost like I was reading Harry Potter for the first time all over again! Swooning over this book!
This was a really great challenging read! DiAngelo calls out a lot of harmful acts that are pretty common. She read the book too which I always like.
I loved Evans poetry is this book. It was so devastatingly beautiful
