Last night, I decided that I‘m going to do #storytimewithmegs at least a few times a week over on Facebook Live. Sometimes it‘ll be kids‘ books, sometimes it‘ll be pieces from books for grownups. I have quite a few books in this series but have yet to read any of them. So this was my first, and I truly loved it. It took the idea of the X Files but made it approachable for the youngest audiences. It got at the heart of Mulder who is always worried that life on other plants will wipe humanity out, and Dana the no nonsense, use your head realist. It was loving done, and something both fans and newbies will enjoy.

I am legit cackling. This was adorable.

I watched X-Files growing up so I was excited to see @cwarnier post this on Litsy, especially since I needed to fill my “X” prompt (thanks!). Artwork was super cute but wish there was more to the story. I was expecting more aliens or some lesson learned... just something else.

Strange book.

This science fiction book is engaging for students. It would be a fun one for students to do a DR on. Students can record re-enactments in groups and the class can watch videos if it together or via class website.

Ummm...there‘s an X-Files picture book. I didn‘t even read it to my kids. I just got it from the library for myself. And it‘s freaking adorable. That‘s all.
