I really liked this part of the book because it is the first time we get to see Voldemort in his own self. Not like a baby or on the back of someone's head.
pickThis is the best book in the series. It takes a huge dark turn!
I love the beginning of the book before Hogwarts as we don't go back to school until 1/4 into the book! I think it's criminal that the movie doesn't show much of Sirius as he becomes such a great godfather to Harry in GoF.
The scenes where Harry relives the graveyard to Sirius & Dumbledore, also Sirius & Mrs Weasley sitting by his bedside get me every time ๐ฅบ
Also, Dobby is back! ๐ฅฐ

pickMrs. Weasley is such a powerful character in this series. Making Harry feel welcome in their home, showing up for him as family during the TriWizard tournament, and fiercely protecting him at the end of the book, she mothers him in a beautiful way.
โMrs. Weasley set the potion down on the bedside cabinet, bent down, and put her arms around Harry. He had no memory of ever being hugged like this, as though by a mother.โ
For some reason I am struggling hardcore with this book. It‘s kind of dragging on for me. Has anyone else had this happen? Where you‘re reading a series and loose your ambition part way through? How do you keep powering on??
pickAnd we finished it. This was my second read but my husband's first. I liked catching things that I didn't catch during my first read. What I loved best was seeing my husband's reactions. On to the next!

This was a reread and is obviously a 7/7 as all the Harry Potter books will be.
Fun fact: this is 1 of 9 editions of the Goblet of fire that I own. I‘m slightly obsessed with Harry Potter ๐ฌ

pickThis is my favorite of the series and it was so fun to listen to! The characters came alive in a way that was entirely different for me!! I stand by the opinion that these books are just as good in audio as they are in print!

Re reading the harry potter books again needed a confort read on book four now
I finished reading the 4th book of the Harry Potter series and I think my main takeaway was that the books are so incredibly different from the movies. I grew up watching the movies and they've become a huge comfort to me, but the books have so much more depth and personality, this book especially. Harry enters the most difficult period of his life starting In the book, and the intensity of the tasks in the tri-wizard tournament is so captivating.

pickSpeculative fiction. This book follows Harry through his fourth year at Hogwarts. He gets entered into the Triwizard Tournament and is forced to compete against some of the best witches and wizards around. There is a perfect mix of danger and fun. And I will say it one more time Rowling does a terrific job of bring the reader into the story to where you feel like your along for the journey with the characters.

I‘m sharing my reading progress for this book I‘m currently reading. I‘m almost finished with it.
This is how far I got in this book 2 or 3 days ago but I haven‘t listened since then. I‘m about 63% of the way into the audiobook. I‘m enjoying the book and I want to get back to listening to it. I haven‘t listened in awhile because I felt like I needed to take a break from reading for a few days. I will finish this book but I will finish at my own pace even if it takes me awhile.
