Have to give you a sunset shot before i go back to my rainy home in a couple of days. Have read nearly 3 books this week which is good for me! Children are looking forward to seeing their friends again and apparently even “miss the rain” 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
#JanuaryJazz Day 28: #NewYearResolution is more sunset-gazing with ze husband. It‘s sweater weather here in the UAE and we are lovvviiiin it! 💕
Seen this beauty while on my way to work tonight, and had to share. 🌄
Day 4 - #SunriseSunset #LitsyBitsy
Beautiful sunset from last night.
I am so glad we got to have this family time at Ras Al Khaimah before WHO declared Covid19 as a global pandemic and we have decided to practice social distancing and just remain at home to “flatten the curve” as scientists call it. Only husband goes out now to buy groceries or when we run around the neighbourhood. Teenage daughter is going bonkers not being able to hang out with her friends. But these are tough times demanding extreme measures.
Just across our home here in Singapore is the gorgeously green soccer field (now filled with university students kicking and hollering). This spot right here is my favourite reading corner. While we cannot see the sunset from here, the brilliant colours in the skies - smatterings of mauve, tangerine, magenta - already make our hearts sing. This will be missed.
1) Lorraine who I met in first grade.
2) The Oregon coast. This pic is my most recent from this March at Yachats.
3) Roses remind me of my grandmother
4) Hope Never Dies

A perfect example as to why I try really hard to avoid reading series that are still being written. This book was good but a textbook cliffhanger. Had I read it in 2015 when it was first published, I would have had to wait until 2016 to find out what happens to these characters. While this second story could be read separately from the first with different MCs, it kept the MCs from the first book in the storyline. Anyway, no spoilers...onto book 3
Last week it rained for two days straight, and it cleared up just in time to make for a beautiful sunset. #weather #gratitude30

👉🏻 4th pic on the roll-pic I took of a dead tree at sunset.
👉🏻Recommended- Sherlock Holmes stories.. my fav is The Speckled Band or The Dancing Men
👉🏻Weather-80's but pleasant which is rare for this time of year. It's almost cold outside #texas
👉🏻Current Read- #lotrchapteraday and The Radium Girls
👉🏻Weekend plans. Working. 😞
#AugustGrrl #day18 #IHeardARumor I heard a rumour that tonight's sunset over Sydney would be spectacular, so I just had to go out and take a photo of it! I love sunsets on days when there's just enough gray cloud in the sky to reflect the suns colour. #sunsetsofsydney #aussieskycolours
Happy Litsyversary to DebinHawaii from NC!! This is my view in the evenings on the opposite coast from you. Our river feeds into the Albemarle Sound, which feeds into the Atlantic. I so love your posts involving food related books and especially cozy mysteries. Keep it up girl!
Wow! What an emotional read! I loved Jag and Ember in this one, and enjoyed seeing both new and familiar faces in this second act of the Angels Walking series. While I wasn't as invested in the main 'couple' of this one as I was in Tyler and Sami's story, I did enjoy seeing Marcus and Mary Katherine helping people and spending time with friends and God. Can't wait to read the next one to see what challenges they will overcome! 4/5 #beatthebacklist
Almost done! I'm picking up book 3 when I go back to the library! Super excited to see how this mission turns out! Such a quick, exciting read! #beatthebacklist #library #librarypick #libraryread
Still haven't finished this one yet, but that's my goal after Heir of Fire!
I'm not sure how many, or if any, of you read Christian fiction, but if you do I'm needing some suggestions!
QOTD: What are some of your favorite Christian fiction books/authors? (Don't worry, I still love YA and all the other things I post, that's not changing, this is just for a project of mine!)
Here we go! I'm starting book 2 of Karen Kingsbury's Angels Walking series! So excited!😁 Also starting another of her books 9/11 One Tuesday Morning
Despite the absolute dumpster fire this week has been, it's important that we find happiness in the little things. The sky tonight as the sun set, was absolutely beautiful and even though I still want to be under the covers, I'm glad I was dragged out because I got this view.
Do you believe that there are angels among us interceding for and protecting you? Really thought-provoking. I wish more CF gets reviewed on Litsy. Good stuff.
On to Book Two in the Angels Walking series. I love seeing things from both the human and angelic view. ❤️
