Just checking if I got killed at copernicus too..
Why did they kill Leigh Bardugo?

1) did I read it this year? I have listened to the audiobook twice and managed to "force" the book onto my kid. ?
2) ? ?️?️ or armchair and blanket(s)
3) just got home from the last ecumenical non-service service. Every year they promise a wintery non-service, every year it's a Christian service with a Star of Bethlehem play. Glad my daughter moves on to secondary school.
4) Baby Groot!!!
This is a bit hard.

Illuminae was one of my favorite books I read this year. The format is really intriguing and so much happens plot wise (in a good, tension filled way!). Definitely recommend
These stories happen in the #Future.
I highly recommend getting the physical copy and the full cast audiobook.
Brought the books along as props for the family photo shooting in the forest. Only got a glimpse at the pictures today.
I am not finished but it is a great book if you like science fiction or outer space then this is the book for you
I finished this book in a day and I loved everything!
Kady is an amazing character. Her love story with Ezra was cute and their chats were fun to read. However, my second favourite character is AIDAN.
I was worried the way the book is written would cause me some problems in the reading process, but I soon realized it wasn‘t true.
I saw the final revelation coming, but the rest was full of surprises.
It took me a long time to finish this book. Not because I didn‘t like it but because i felt like the format of this book was too much at times. But the story was great and I do recommend it. It was definitely a type of book I don‘t normally go for but I‘m glad I read it. I gave it 4/5 stars on goodreads.
😍😍 A reread, and I loved it just as much as the first time. Now, I can finally get around to reading the next two books.
Book 10 of #24b4Monday + #SummersEndReadathon ✔️
Been in a reading slump lately. So I did what any normal person would do when they are in a slump...buy more books! This was book 1 or 4 that I purchased the other day. #treatyoshelf
I enjoyed this book. I‘ve had it on my TBR for quite a while and I‘m glad I finally got to it! I really liked the format of the book (instant messaging, emails, memos, etc.). It was a quick and easy read. I do plan on reading the other books in the trilogy. Hopefully I can get to them soon!
I don‘t read much about outer space dilemmas. This one is my 1st of the theme, but HOLY S#*%! From the cover to the end, everything is absolutely unique. The book is narrated through documents, reports, chats, e-mails, and wonderful graphics that pull you into the story like as if you‘re witnessing and experiencing the moment as you flip through the pages. It is unconventionally intense. And now I plan to invest on the 2nd book of the series.
Waiting on my bus so I‘m reading on the side of the road! I‘m headed to a bookstore to hunt for the next book to read. So far the book is good, though I absolutely hate Ezra & his interactions with Kady. I find it annoying that their whimsy is a little out of place. They are facing life and death in a spacecraft full of infected and they still manage to send sappy messages and joke around like it‘s another day. Ezra is too flippant. Not my type!
After finishing my previous book, I wanted to move straight to the next on my shelf. I bought this book more for its messy, document-like aesthetic. Heh. and now I wonder if I‘ll like its science-fiction/romance storyline since I‘m not big into this type of young adult fiction. Will I want to read the rest of The Illuminae Files series (Gemina & Obsidio)? We‘ll find out. If you have read it, what are your thoughts about this book?
I recently reread Illuminae and I am currently reading the next one Gemini. Because I have decided it is time to finish the series. Here I have a picture with a few items centered on book 1.
When a normal school day turns into a full on attack. The survivors of Kerenza VI and those that have saved them, must journey to safety. But will they make it when the AI of the main ship goes rogue?
I had a hard time getting into this one. It has good reviews and is rated high on Goodreads. I still would give it 3 stars, as there WERE some things I did like.
#24in48 #sffchallenge For the first challenge for this readathon weekend... here is my SFF TBR shelf. (I‘ve read Illuminae but because I love it so much I couldn‘t put it away.) I‘m a bit behind on my mission to get to 24 hours so I need to catch up!
