I watched this movie over the weekend, and it is one of my favorites from my youth. In addition to being directed by Joe Johnson and featuring voice work from Frank Welker, the score was composed by James Horner, who also worked on A Land Before Time, Willow, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, The Mask of Zorro, Glory, and Titanic.

TieDyeDude @anncrystal This is one of my favorites to revisit. I recently watched an episode of VFX Artists React on YouTube that talked about the way they animated the transition from live action to cartoon, as it was the early days of CG. Just another layer to appreciate!

I just finished watching The Pagemaster! I saw this in theaters when I was a kid and absolutely loved it. It's been years since I've watched it. I can't believe I forgot that Christopher Lloyd played the librarian and I didn't even realize until I watched it this time that Patrick Stewart was the voice for Adventure! I only remembered Macaulay Culkin and Whoopi Goldberg. This was an enjoyable rewatch with some corny, yet fantastic book humor. 😄
