I usually never read ebooks but this has never published on my mother tounge so I have to read it in English. Morover I red the first part many many years ago. It is not bad but nothing really happen, I guess the third book will be fulfilling with more information ( I hope so). And I do not undersrand why is this much POV.
Now I am starting the third one. 😀

I'm at the point where I'm desperate for something different to read because I've gotten bored of these books now, I've lost interest.

I've read loads of similar books which are masterpieces and the bar is too high I guess lol.

Still gets a moderate rating because I certainly does have it's moments, I just prefer books with good, memorable characters and these books don't offer this.

Came across this in a charity shop and it sounded great, found out that it's the second book in a series and the first book is The Hatching; need to get that now!! ✅

The sequel to The Hatching is just as creepy as the first one, and it doesn't matter that the spiders in this book aren't real, I'm still more afraid of them than ever. The first wave of them has died off, but now there are more, they're different, and at least of them is a lot bigger. Skitter is really a gross, goose bump-inducing, fun read, and I'm looking forward to reading the third book, Zero Day. Sorta.

The audiobook had a lot of glitches, so parts of the story were confusing. Otherwise, this is better than the first, but also suffers from having too many inconsequential characters. The final book in the trilogy isn‘t out until February, but I definitely want to see how the spider situation is resolved. 🕸 #littensdressedinblood

Who knew books about spiders could be so addictive. I loved this one as much as the first one and can't wait for more. I love all the points of view and locations. Also how all the character are experiencing the outbreaks in different ways. I would love to see these books as movies. Highly recommend!

A little lunchtime reading. I guess I am on a killer 🕷 kick. I just finished Eight and now onto Skitter. I was worried that it had been so long since I read The Hatching but as soon as I started reading it all came back. Love the characters! It's so fun, I'm going to binge read it tonight after my library volunteer shift.

Skitter wasn't as fast paced as The Hatching but still a great read. Bummed that I have to wait a whole year for book 3. Of course I finish it before bed, hope I don't dream of too many creepy crawlies 🕷

Wet and raining here today. Guess I have no choice but to read all day....oh darn!

I normally read one book at a time and finish it before starting another but since this just came in today, my current read, The Caped Crusade will have to wait. Very excited to see what happens with killer spiders on the loose. 🕷🕷🕷

3/5⭐️. A little better then the first one. But I felt like I already knew what the climax was going to intel. It was entertaining which was what I had expected from the series. I will likely read the next one when it comes out next year

Book two has been just as fun as book one only slightly more exciting. I love the snark, the slowly building terror and the evolution of the story arch.
The jumping between characters with short chapters makes it a fast and enjoyable read. A perfect vacation or summer read. Looking forward to book 3 2018!

The second book in this series, made my skin crawl just as much as the first....it's spider-tastic.

This weekend I've managed to read Be My Killer (loved it!), The Human Wilderness (book one in a trilogy) and I'm currently reading Skitter (all the spidery goodness and shenanigans!!) the other picture is obviously because you can never have enough spiders 🕷🕷🕷☺️

This is the second book in the series. For me, this book wasn't as exciting as The Hatching. There wasn't as much action, or as many scares. I did enjoy reading the book. The spiders are still super creepy, and at this point it is hard to imagine how we will win. I will definitely be reading book three as soon as it comes out. I am totally hooked on this story.

I'm interested in what happens to all of the characters, and in seeing how the story develops. I just wish more had happened that creeped me out; it wasn't scary enough.

This is a great sequel. It has the same kind of foreboding terror, fear and confusion as The Hatching but it also has a great sense of humor, a constantly moving plot and a great cast of characters.

My only complaint is that at times the plot moved too fast. There were definitely moments were I wanted more of certain characters. But damn this was so much fun.

I really enjoyed this regardless of the cringing and freaks out because well spiders.

Why am I reading this book?! Why?! 😩😩😩😩 It takes a really talented author to get me to read not one, but two books about a mutant spider infestation. I know it sounds corny but this is really fascinating. And the way he crafts the story and characters is really interesting. But there is so much gross!

The next book on my list is... Because as soon as I found The Hatching has a sequel I knew I needed to read it! The first book was so good. It was fast paced, gross with an interest and disturbing concept. I'm here fot this sequel. I hate spiders but this story is awesome!

The good news is, if you haven't read The Hatching yet, you have 6 months before this sequel comes out. The bad news is, if you have read The Hatching you have to wait 6 months for this creepy sequel. And worse yet, I have no idea how long I have to wait for the third book in this series!
