This book of short stories is good, dark fun. A perfect palate cleanser. And I love a flawed MC, which Letty is 💯. She‘s not a “good” person exactly, but she follows an internal code. And her instincts on that are solid.

I read the Kindle version, which also has blurbs on the creation and adaptation processes from the author. Those were interesting.

This collection of 3 short stories that inspired the TV show is a fun listen! The audio includes bonus content directly from the author that offers behind the scene anecdotes on the show and the reason behind some differences. Letty is an intriguing character- trading the high of drugs for the high of the heist and yet still is likable. I‘m sorry the show was canceled and I hope these stories aren‘t the end for Letty! #AudioColoring

An impromptu work road trip let me get a nice start on the #24B4Monday this morning. I was able to finish Good Behavior, and start Six of Crows. Good Behavior was really enjoyable, and I liked the extra info snippets from Blake Crouch in between the stories. I'm not sure how much time I'll get to read this weekend, but at least I'm off to a good start.

About a year ago a friend recommended TNT's Good Behavior to me. I couldn't get enough! It is so good! It wasn't until I was almost done catching up on the show that I realized it was based on a book of short stories by Blake Crouch. I usually hate reading the book after watching an adaptation, but in this case I think it made me love the book even more. The final story had me audibly gasping in surprise!

First... 5 Flippin‘ Stars! This was supposed to be an audiobook filler in the #24in48 readathon. But it was so damn good I listened to it pretty much straight through. Different from Crouch‘s other work by a mile. But just as good. This solidifies his talent & kicks him up a notch.

This was really different from the other Crouch books I‘ve read. It is a collection of short stories about one character who is an addict and a thief. Enjoyable read!

The tv series, Good Behavior, is based on the novellas in this collection. The main character, Letty Dobesh, is a thief and a tweaker (making it weird to see the person who played Lady Mary in Downton Abbey play Letty), but Crouch manages to make the reader feel sympathy for her anyway. My favorite story here is the casino heist one, Grab. It had a twist I did not see coming at all. There‘s an homage to The Most Dangerous Game as well.

This showed up as a new book on my Kindle Fire because it is interactive?? I decided to give it a try despite the trashy cover 😏

I honestly really didn‘t care for this. I didn‘t like the characters and wasn‘t invested in what happened to them. The stories were okay, but I just didn‘t like it. There were no redeeming qualities in my opinion.

Letty, Letty, Letty. I have to admit I kind of like her. She‘s real and jacked up and knows it. I was anticipating the twists at the end of each story. Really entertaining. Has anyone seen the TV series?

🌟🌟🌟I liked this book! If you‘re a fast reader you can get through it in a sitting. (I‘m not ☹️). This book is made up of 3 short stories and also includes author notes which give a little insight into the characters, storyline and tv show. I‘d recommend watching the show first because the references won‘t make much sense.

I had an #audiorun today while starting the last novella in this collection. Then I ended up finishing it before noon. All 3 stories had #twists to them, and Letty is such an endearingly flawed character. She gets herself into some crazy predicaments! #riotgrams

I haven't watched the TV show inspired by these short stories, but I definitely will now. Crouch does a great job of creating a mostly likable character, but one who has major flaws. Even though you know Letty is going to keep screwing up, you can't help but continue to root for her. Every story introduces new elements of her personality, and Crouch is an expert at twisting the plot just when you think you've got it all figured out.

Good Behavior is the first book I've read in awhile that was truly un-put-downable. Letty is a grifter, drug addict, survivor. She continually finds herself in crazy situations, the result of her own bad decisions. It's hard not to route for her. Very different from the TV series. Really love both.

I liked this! Blake Crouch's talent, but no sci-fi!! Nice. Also a fast & easy read. Not on par with his best work, of course, but definitely worth a day's worth of reading.

This is even better than the TV show ( and I love the TV series!)

New TV show obsession! I loved Michelle Dockery in Downton Abbey so of course I followed her to her new show and now I'm hooked.

I've never read anything quite like this, connected novellas. I really enjoyed getting to know Letty Dobesh, I just wanted more of her character! I have so many questions, I felt like I needed a novel to dig into her past. But it was captivating and thrilling, and now I'm interested in the show

This was fun to read after watching the first half of the TV show adaptation of these stories. It was interesting to see what made it into the show and what changed. The author's notes about the making of the show were a great addition! The show is fun too!

For #SeasonsReadings2016 Day 24, I thought of Letty from this series of novellas as a great example for #charactersonthenaughtylist I've just binge-watched the TV series and found the novellas on Kindle Unlimited. I heard they changed a lot for the TV show, so I don't have to worry about spoilers!

My first Blake Crouch experience: I fell so hard for Letty. She wants to behave but she gets herself into crazy tough situations because the rush keeps her from drugs. Her ultimate goal is to see her son again. Complex character, so easy to love ❤️👏🏻 I held my breath so often at things she would do.

Three short stories. Suspenseful! Included are Blake's notes on bringing Letty's story to television: DO NOT skip this!

I'm reading Good Behavior on my phone's kindle app because it is a "Kindle In Motion" - have any of you guys or gals read one of these before?

The pictures in the book ☝?️are moving pictures! Like tiny little films that play while you read that page. I'm so excited about this, especially since I haven't seen this TV show with Michelle Dockery yet.

Is this something that I'm late to because I usually read on my actual Kindle? Love it. So cool.

I woke to a light coating of snow here in NY. Then I read this and laughed ? (because I work in local news).
"The local news was in hysterical storm-coverage mode."
I can't tell you how many times I slept at the station because we had to work to tell people NOT to go out in the weather.

Bread, wine, cheese, pears. And Good Behavior. The pilot was almost word for word the first novella (except for the ending). Since the rest of the series does not follow the books, I feel I can watch and read at the same time. I'm loving both. #booktotv

I want to read it before I watch the show.
