Welcome to Litsy!

My #BookSpin list for February is full of books from my TBR, with the exception of Night Shift by Stephen King, which is the #LosersClub book of the month. I will be getting it from the library since I don't already own it. All of the other books will qualify for my #ShelfLove reading challenge and many of them will qualify for the #2025OffMyShelf prompts as well. I picked mostly shorter books since February is usually not a good month for me.

I'm really excited for my December #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin! 😁

I‘ve been trying to finish this all year and I finally did it. It was good! I was injured and in severe pain after I started this book so I think I had a mental block when it came to reading it. The story was great and I was very entertained. I‘m a little skeptical about where Harry‘s story is heading but I‘m determined to get caught up with this series. At the rate the author writes, I think I have time 😆

Finished this one today. #14 in the #DresdenFiles #Series What a wild ride! I really enjoyed it!

#audiosewing project done. A cross-body-bag, made from the recipients favourite pair of jeans (she outgrew them last year), that does not have the usual bum bag look.

Spoiler free: Harry has to help the Queen of Winter. As always things get out of hand soon and definitely not according to plan.

He‘s back from the dead and is now Mab‘s Winter Knight, forced to do her bidding!! First on her list? Assassinate an immortal!

Harry‘s ALIVE & more than mortal! He has to let all of his friends & family know he‘s not dead & then convince them to help him kill the immortal.

This book had so many new & old characters! Supernatural beings! Action!! Fight scenes! Romance! HUMOR! Friends, family, enemies!

This is definitely the longest series I‘ve ever read. I‘m so surprised that I‘m still interested in reading it! Though surprised isn‘t the right word, because this series is so great.

Can‘t wait for the next one.

This book has some of their best banter. 💚💀

1. It's The End Of The World As We Know It by REM. The laid back panic of Harry Dresden trying to stop yet another catastrophe makes me think of this song.

2. Mugs and bookmarks. You can't have too many mugs or bookmarks.

3. I've never really given this a lot of thought. I guess when I was younger I liked characters that were closer to my age. They were easier to relate to. Now, I don't make a lot of book choices based on main character age.

An excellent return to the main story with fantastic fey intrigue and some reappearances by awesome friends (or foes?). Another awesomely dramatic final confrontation!

A book titled Cold Days might not be considered proper beach reading, but I could hardly interrupt my Dresden Files reread now, could I?

With regard to the current weather in Chicago... I don't want to point any fingers, but we all know about Harry Dresden's "dealings" with the Winter Court. Just sayin'...

Have I mentioned how much I love Harry Dresden....this guy is a freak'n wizard, with attitude, who has faced quite a few baddies...baddies as bad as they come, with a fairy godmother in tow and everything, he us tall dark and handsome and he is sooo socially akward and this is so relatable!!!!! 😀😀😀😀

Whoa. There was a lot going on in this one. How is it no one is making these books into movies? This would be such an awesome movie. 🎥

Woah the drama in this book was unreal. I love how crazy fun these stories are. This series is fantastic urban fantasy. On to the next and then I'll be all caught up 😕. Love this series.

As always, Marsters is a brilliant narrator. Another great installment in the series, even if Butcher does keep ripping my heart out and poking at it.

Aside from Harry, my favorite character in tThe Dresden Files must be Butters.
