Such a great book…a must-read IMO. This is a reread for me, so this time I opted for the audiobook.

What can I say. I couldn‘t resist the colored edges. 🥰 My single book haul book (cause I‘m on a major budget) 😒
Another twisty thriller written in true McFadden style with each chapter bouncing from character to character creating a fast paced read. Read this in a day, definitely gripping, but the subject matter...a little more difficult to stomach if I'm honest.
Having read 3 of McFadden's books, I can see a lot of similarities in her characters and storyline. Not saying it's a bad thing just might start to make her books quite predictable.
It is a very very foggy frosty Sunday morning here is Southend. We have escaped the snow (thank goodness) and have had some cold days. This morning was a beautiful walk in the Frost and fog. Home now with a big cup of tea and a thriller to dive into

Simon is an outcast and has a blog where he tells gossip. unfortunately he does not make it out of the classroom. before detention is over Simon died due to a allergic reaction, according to the investigators, his death was not an accident. on Monday, he died, but on Tuesday he planned on posting all of their secrets on his page, which makes all 4
I‘ve got my first book hangover of the year thanks to Idlewild. Once I started it I really never wanted to put it down. The passion and yearning of high school/ teen life, even when you aren‘t sure what the huge yearning feeling is for exactly, combined with such deeply considered characters.
While the ending felt right and very realistic, I did hope for something slightly different.
Best book of the year so far 😆. I did love this.

I‘m only 3/4 through, but I can feel this one is likely to make my best of list for the year. It‘s kind of exciting to say that this early in January!
In the wake of the Boston marathon bombing, kids in various high schools around the country are dealing with all the things teens have to deal with these days. Only there‘s an online forum where something terrible is being planned. Well done and thoughtful, but definitely some content warnings here (under spoiler tag below).
My first #Roll100 read!
I‘m in the Midwest getting hit with a snowstorm ❄️ so today has been: cozy reading, snack, football, snack, nap, snack, cozy reading 😆 📚 I enjoyed this YA fiction novel originally published in 2008. It was fun and nostalgic. As much as I loved having a physical book, I‘m picking up my Kindle for my next read!
I‘m pleased with this month‘s #bookspin picks 🙂📚. Thanks @TheAromaofBooks !
