Thanks for the tag, @TheSpineView! 🤗
1. Not to brag, but I was pretty good in high school; I graduated 3rd in my class of over 600 students (thank goodness, for I would have hated to give a speech!). But then I discovered college and was legally okay to drink at the age of 18, so partying interfered with my scholastic abilities for a while. 🤣
2. My students loved the tagged book! Who wouldn't want to kill their English teacher? 🤩
Another goodie by Frieda. If you ever watched Pretty Little Liars, I can totally see Ian Harding playing Nate Bennet. There was a good twist in the end but it left me asking a few questions but can‘t say here without spoiling it. Definitely a quick, fun read 💜
If you knew the future of a relationship, what choices would you make and why?
My absolute favorite Yoon title to date.
Jade is a teen growing into adulthood and finding self amidst the challenges of being a black scholarship student at a prestigious high school. Jade lives with her hardworking grounded mother and young uncle E.J. The struggles of not fitting in and growing up are beautifully portrayed in this novel. A 4 ⭐️ pick for this one.
Well, I just read this in one sitting. 😂 There were some problematic character flaws (mainly any and all forgiveness of terrible people), but Grace is just so kick-ass that she smooths over most of them for me. I very much enjoyed the final altercation and was glad that Grace continued standing up for herself.
