I keep forgetting to post reviews, so I did a #monthlywrapup in case I don't get to them. 🙃
(Also forgot to put a thumbs up on Citizen. 5 star required reading.)
It was down to the wire but I got my September #bookspinbingo list posted in time 😮💨😁! I‘m almost done with both Worst Case Scenario and One Big Happy Family so I had to push those over into the new month. Beyond that I really want to make a dent in my #botm books so I can HOPEFULLY 🤞 win the challenge and get a book sleeve by the end of the year! I also want to read The Long Walk before I see the movie adaptation. #tbr #bookspin
You guys! There are SO many books coming out next month! I can‘t handle it! Some of my all time favorite authors. Which ones are you most excited about??
#12booksof2024 @Andrew65 late to the party but my favorite September read ❤️📚I didn‘t know what to expect and it‘s a crazy story. A woman takes over a hotel for a wedding, but an unexpected guest gets a room and ends up being the life of the party - the opposite of her plan.
September wrap up from StoryGraph!
A great trio of books that I enjoyed a lot! Station eleven was by far my favourite. Probably contender for best book this year for me.
On track with my reading goal, although this month was a bit behind. I‘m aiming for a book a week, so 52 total and I‘m at 39! Exactly 75% of the way through.

Even though I love fall, I am sad that summer went by in the blink of an eye! Here is to a new month and a new photo challenge!! #schoolspirit @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

September #BookSpinBingo wrap up. I managed to tie September with February for my slowest reading months of 2023. Not sure what happened there. September seemed like it went by way too fast. Good news though is now I can count all the stories separately from my #DoubleSpin book for #Scarathlon 😈 #BatBrigade
September was a lovely month for gardening, sending off our monarchs, soccer, and READING. 📖
Loved so many of these titles pictured here.

🎧SEPTEMBER RECAP🎧
It was a good month. I had four 5-star books. Which is amazing, and they were amazing. This is also my longest time listened in a month for the whole year. But...I didn't get any actual reading accomplished this month...oh well.
fav book of the month was Such Sharp Teeth by Rachel Harrison
fav cover of the month was The September House by Carissa Orlando
My September reading graph is all over the place and that jives with how September rolled. Looking forward to a more settled October.
Thanks to a good final week, I finished 14 books this month. While my average rating was higher than last month, I still feel like I read a lot of mediocre and forgettable books, which makes me a little sad. The Devil‘s Playground was my favorite and The Paradox Hotel was not far behind. #spetemberstats #septemberwrapup
My September #bookspinbingo board!! I feel really good about getting at least one bingo this month 🤞
I had 19 books on my August TBR. I read 4. I have 11 books (possibly 13, depending on the bookspin/doublespin numbers). What percentage of these will I actually read? 🤔 #septembertbr
Cutting it close, but finally finalized my goals for the #SummerEndReadathon. I decided to go back to the staged goals, finishing one before moving onto the next, but not necessarily pushing to finish all. My reading really slowed down in August, so I‘m just hoping for a stress free, relaxed reading month. No monthly numerical goal, just hoping for some five star reads. #QualityOverQuanity.
My September TBR was sort of easy to make as I didn‘t read about half the books on my August list due to family loss and back to school adjustments. I finally was able to sit and read a bit today and clean which was great and soothing. Getting ready for the turn of the month coming up this week and #bookspin
@TheAromaofBooks
I'm probably going to be 2 books behind at the end of August so I started adding graphic novels to my list. Hopefully will catch up in September. :)
#bookspin
Today, I‘m sharing my reading stats from September. I read 7 books that were #libraryholds from Libby. I mainly read Fantasy and Romance. A lot of the books I read were mediocre but I‘m not going to like every book I read.
1. Bras & Broomsticks - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
2. Of Mice & Men - ⭐️
3. The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
4. Mexican Gothic - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
5. The Road Trip - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
6. Once Upon A Toad - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
7. The No-Show - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am technically still reading Babel, but this past month has been so stressful it was put on the back burner. I don‘t see myself finishing it in October either, but stranger things have happened!

Wrapping up September before I start October #Scarathlon posts. As busy as work was for me, I‘m happy I was able to finish 6 books (one a chunkster) & partially finish 2 more—I‘m caught up & will finish Jane Eyre with the #PemberLittens #chapteraday & I am about 2/3 through with Other Birds (which I‘m loving but couldn‘t stay up to finish 😵)
Favorites were Free Food For Millionaires with #SundauBuddyRead & Backyard Witchcraft read for review.
Goodreads is, and probably always will be, my main place to track books (that and my spreadsheet), but I've dived into StoryGraph this month and it's mostly because of this graph. I love how it lays out my reading over the course of the month.
If StoryGraph ever changes how to mark books as read and reviewing them a forever switch might happen.
Thank you @RedxoHearts so much for my wonderful #fffs package! Both of these books I‘ve really wanted! I love all the goodies too. Happy Autumn! 🍁🍂
My very ambitious library #bookstack for September 😬. I am taking two weeks off from work, so hoping the time off will go a long way towards helping me read down these beauties. Gus is looking rather skeptical of my plan 🤔 #dogsoflitsy
September #bookspinbingo board here!
#bookspin = Dead Trees Give No Shelter by Wil Wheaton
#doublespin = The Dead and the Dark by Courtney Gould
I just love #BookSpin #BookSpinBingo announcement day. It starts my morning the best way. My bs is I Can Hear You Whisper and my ds is a #Roll100 pick - Paola Santiago and the River of Tears. Of course, two days into September and I‘m already behind on buddy reads…
Another month, another #bookspin list! I've already started almost half of these books (yes, I read way too many books at the same time!), so hopefully I'll finish several. Of course, I'm sure I'll let myself be distracted along the way...
