This is the last book in this series (and the only other one I‘ve read is book 2) but I will make my way through the others. Viggo, a romance book lover and hopeless romantic, strikes a deal with Tallula, a thriller writer and non-believer in love. He will help her with a romance sub-plot in her 2nd book, and she will help him get his bookstore ready for its grand opening.

A soft pick. This was pretty repetitive on several counts, but there was lots of Christmas-y vibes, and the MMC is an NHL player, so yeah. Didn‘t hate that! I also rooted for the FMC, who has a complicated relationship with her mother, and was just trying to follow her passion.

Fun read! A different kind of holiday novel but it really worked. I enjoyed the world that the author built, with each holiday having a royal family. Coal, the prince of Christmas is basically a screw up, and he is pitted against Hex, the Halloween prince, in a fake competition for the hand of the princess of Easter. When Coal finds out the reason for the ruse, he sets out to fix it, and falls for Hex in the process.
