Last night I couldn‘t settle on any of the books I had picked out for Japan, so I read the chapters that featured it in 1,000 places. Wow, I would love to see their cherry blossoms and climb Mt. Fuji. #FoodAndLit

Prompt Day 1. Motivated
Book 92 of 2020
This post is for all of my book lovers who are also travel lovers! I love using books to do research when I‘m traveling. What‘s your favorite destination and/or an upcoming one?
P.S. I loathe stickers on books 😤

Most of my #BucketList items involve travel. So many places are on my list! And I‘m completely willing to travel to see the Obamas in person. I‘ve met Jimmy Carter at his church in Georgia and have seen Bill Clinton speak. #SelfImprovementSept
I‘m leaving for Ethiopia tomorrow!
This is my go-to travel reference book. Really handy for checking out highlights near places you‘re visiting and planning itineraries. I‘d love to see Lalibela, but I think work will mostly keep me in Addis Ababa.
1. Since @DannyHattan didn‘t say fiction or none fiction, I‘m going to go with this CHUNK of a book that I‘ve had on my shelf for about 15 years.
2. I‘m going everywhere, but starting off at Victoria Falls in Zambia/Zimbabwe 😍
3. This is a hard one, because I honestly feel like I would travel anywhere if I had the chance... I‘ll have to have a think on that one. 🤔
4. Tagged!
It is so exciting when I can check off one of the “1000 Places to See Before You Die” locations. I never seem to consult the book *before* I travel, so I feel very lucky indeed when I happen to visit one. One of these was in picturesque #Ireland - Adare Manor and Village. A magical place, where my mom and I shared afternoon tea in a bay window, looking out on a misty green landscape. One my favorite memories. ❤️

Been working on unpacking boxes and organizing bookshelves. This is just one of many. (My husband thinks I‘ve got too many books. — too many books for what is what I want to know) 😉
May 8: #ReadingResolutions— #traveltuesday; it‘s my ultimate goal to travel the world and hit as many of these places as I can 😻
I take my travel seriously. 😊😊 #travel #traveltuesday @Jess7 #readingresolutions #maps #photographs #globes
Dewey's reading challenge today is #plans. I've still got a lot to see #30daysofreadathon
There are only a handful of states that I have never been to.. #california is one of them. #Californialove #map #travel #90sinjuly #wine
I'm not even an Elvis fan, but my husband took me to Graceland and I was seduced by the atmosphere and before I knew it I was shelling out $25 for the Graceland Guidebook. 😂
100% hands down, #afavoritehobby of mine is travel. We're old school, we still buy paper travel guides, all of which I keep on a shelf beside the photo books I make from each trip (another hobby, I suppose?)

Returning audio book to Library and found this on the "for sale" cart. Will not be reading cover to cover! Purely for reference and armchair travel. Also wanted to show you my first #bookzleeve from @MyBookZleeves . I love it!
I love to travel. I live to travel. This is one of my traveling bibles! The post it's on the side are places where I have been. At the top, place I plan to go in the near future. The rest, places I will visit in my lifetime. Patricia Schultz is a great presenter, too!
I'm excited that today I've reached 1,000 litfluence in both comments and book adds. Glad to see I'm litfluencing you as you are litfluencing me! ❤️
