Since I'm not working, I have more time to read (at least in theory). I hope to finish The Sheriff of Yrnameer and Swamp Thing Vol. 1 this weekend. I need to get started on The Man Who Fell to Earth for #LitsySciFiBookClub.
#weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
Well, just decided to DNF Mirrorland, at least for now. Can't get into the writing style. After two weeks now I am still just 60 pages in. But I tried, right? This one is also my #Doublespin of February @TheAromaofBooks
The middle one is Beneath the Moon, a beautifully illustrated fairy tale/myth collection.
The Perfect Friend is a #Netgalley ARC and my #TwinPeaksReadingChallenge #TPRC choice for The Double R.

A mix of historical mystery, a bit of paranormal, and the last part of some densely philosophical science fiction. I should have had The Dispossessed finished by now, but the audiobook about Rudolf Diesel has been really good and hard to set aside.
#ClassicLSFBC
Reading More Than Human for #ClassicLSFBC. I should have it finished this weekend.

Although I'm working all weekend, I am putting aside time to work on these three books. The Combat Codes on audio, the other two in print.

These are the books currently in progress heading into the weekend, but let‘s be honest. I‘m probably only going to touch the three on the bottom. Maybe I‘ll pick up the audio of Little Drummer Girl to try to make headway there, but I haven‘t decided. #weekendreading

Streamlined my TBR for this weekend in hopes of helping me focus better. As always though, there‘s always room for #ImpulseReads if my brain needs a break🤓😉
Happy reading weekend everyone (yes, yes, I know😁I‘m starting early but I didn‘t figure anyone would mind😂🤷🏻♀️🤓). Cheers🥂to @Andrew65 for this wonderful weekend event!♥️♥️

TGIF it‘s finally Friday. I‘m looking forward to lots of reading & less negativity from those outside my household.
This is my weekend TBR stack. I‘ve just recently started ‘Open‘, barely started ‘Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee‘ & both ‘Baby Teeth‘ (#BookSpin) & ‘Baby, Come Home‘ are fresh & ready to be “cracked open” (not literally😳 so we‘re clear😉)
Tomorrow hubby is off work, so we‘re going to the zoo in Tyler. Excited for family time - but no reading time tomorrow.
I got an unexpected gig for this weekend. It‘s nice to work, though it‘s because the usual timpanist was very sick over the holidays and isn‘t fully recovered. But rehearsal Saturday and 2 services Sunday = little reading time (except between services).
So #JoyousJanuary will be a slow start for me.

• I don‘t tend to give up on series because I always need to know what happens and how things end
• it depends on the book!
• not officially, but I consider my entire English degree a book club

📚The Boxcar Children 📚The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer (I read them to my daughter but she outgrew her interest before the last book came out.) 📚Both! And sometimes I‘ll take a pile to Powell‘s to sell for store credit. (Yay, more books!) 📚Yes! We take turns picking the book and one night each month we bring food & wine to a home where we discuss it. It‘s great! #weekendchat @CSeydel

1️⃣ I think it‘d still be the Sweet Valley High series at over 60 novels, thereabouts.
2️⃣ none that I can remember - I am a completist.
3️⃣ Shelve and recommend or buy another copy to give to someone since my books are mostly for-room-use only
4️⃣ Yup! Two offline (IRL) ones and 4 online.
It‘s the weekend and I have my replacement phone, so all is good!
