Could not resist starting this on my way to work as an audiobook. Seems appropriate since we might add another kid to our herd.

Here‘s a collage of Bunny getting her first bath this week after being slobbered on and ground in to the mud by her new BFF Brewster the Berner, my teeny baby swathed in a blanket at Trader Joe‘s, and my big girl in her snow gear on the playground at pre-k.

On my 2nd #24in48 book. It is a cold and windy day out there so I‘m spending it perfectly: snuggled up with one of the doggies and kitties in front of the fire. 😊

I‘m having a slow start, but that might just be my long day. I‘m still very hopeful it‘ll pick up, and intrigued about what I‘m going to learn about doggies. 🐶 💜 My pup, Muffin, will be 5 years old next Friday and I picked this book in her honour. I‘ll post a picture of the party next week.

I got this book as a gift awhile ago but haven't gotten around to reading it yet but I cant wait to find the time to read it, If you‘re interested in learning about what goes on inside a dog‘s head, this is the book for you. Cognitive scientist Alexandra Horowitz explains how dogs perceive the world and why they do the things they do. 🐶

This book started better than it finished. It was pretty long and it almost feels as though the author was also getting tired of writing it as much as I was getting a little tired of reading it. It had a good premise: using authors own dogs to explain behaviour and then going into the research behind dog behaviour. ⭐⭐⭐/5

Day 21: Animal Covers. Yay! I had a hard time picking only a couple. This house is FULL of dog books (wife is seriously looking into becoming a part-time dog trainer) and a recent episode of Get Booked talked about Redwall so that has been on my mind. #riotgrams

Just picked this up in the airport. I'm excited! Although I probably should finish some of my other books before I start another new one...

Finally finished this book. I really wanted to like it, but was very disappointed. Could be my expectations were too high. I've also always owned a dog, and didn't feel like I learned much. The best part of reading is my ever constant and reliable reading partner. 🐶 Love her so much! 💖
