Starting this 👍
A good read, based around a girl whose best friend runs off with a teacher from their school. Lots to think about - relationships, family, expectations. A likeable lead - she was honest about who she is and that she‘s not always great, just like a real person!
Eden‘s best friend, Bonnie, runs away with their music teacher. The police and Bonnie‘s mother are all over Eden because they are convinced she knows where Bonnie is. And she does.
Pretty good read. I wanted to slap Bonnie all during the second half because she didn‘t see the mess she had created for Eden and her family 🤦🏻♀️😠
Fall is coming...starting my snuggles with my kitty and a book! 🐈📚
I liked this quick read, I didn't love it. I was very frustrated with some of the main character's actions but I had to keep reminding myself she was 16 and characters are supposed to be flawed. I did like the internal struggles and the emotional journey she went through in the book.
Book 14 for 2019
I liked this book a lot. I didn‘t want to put it down. I really wanted to see what happened in the end. But also Eden made some POOR CHOICES. Girl come on.
It‘s been a sad day in the Dodd house today. We said goodbye to this old man. He was 22 and we‘ll miss him terribly.
Hi everyone, I‘m switching all my bookish activity over to goodreads. Feel free to send a friend request my way if you‘d like to keep up with my literary adventures! I hope some of you will add me so I can keep up with your reading recommendations as well! :)

Taking part in #read365 and trying to read at least a little every day; this is the first one I‘ve started in 2018 and as expected from Sara Barnard is really superb so far!
"I can't imagine what the new normal is going to look liķe, just that there's no way to go back to how we were. But here's the thing I realise: I know what it means to lose someone you thought was forever. I've done this before. The people that you let into your life are a choice and sometimes that choice changes"
A truly wonderful quote which is so relevant to my life. I needed to read this. Life just changes sometimes and we take on a new path.
