It's a black bean brownie, kitty snuggles, binge watch the Fox TV series Sleepy Hollow kind of day. This show is nothing like Irving's story, but it is a super fun Halloween cheesy plot!

The works of Edgar Allan Poe, and Irving‘s Sleepy Hollow both put me in the mood for #autumn!

DNF. I just picked up this book to start story four and then it clicked. This felt like what we Dutch call a 'moetje'. Usually used in the context of you have to marry each other, because you accidentally got pregnant.
Well, this book felt the same, like an obligation. So I've decided to DNF the book. I'm clearly not enjoying it in itself, so there's that.

Here's my #bookspin and #doublespin for the month of December. Sleepy hollow contains multiple short stories by Washington Irving. I think it fits this dark month. I'll try to watch the film. One review says The book of Ruth is Dickensian, so that would fit this month as well.

First time I watch this movie. It has some mild gory/creepy scenes expected in Tim Burton movies but I enjoyed it. I'm using my monthly limit to watch tv since I don't watch too much tv but this is for my group, #Scarathlon2020 #TeamHearkness Yes! 5 points 👻🖤🖤🖤🎃🖤🖤🖤💀

Finally got around to watching The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad! I watch this every year and I‘m sure I‘ll watch it at least once or twice more this year 😆. I can very much relate to Ichabod‘s love of walking and reading 📖 🤓 +6 points for #teamslaughter!

Visited Washington Irving‘s grave. If you don‘t know too much about the history of Irving and Sleepy Hollow, it‘s worth a read.

All the credit to my best friend who came along for this mini road trip that was planned around a book store when that is so not her scene 😬

One of my best bookish gift Ive received is this bookshelf (books nt included haha) from my husband. Its supposed to only have old editions and classics on it. Also this is only half of it lol.
