On New Year's Eve, Callum Ormond is chased down the street by a crazed man with a deadly warning: They killed your father. They'll kill you. You must survive the next 365 days! Stranded in the middle of nowhere, terrified and alone, Cal is on the run. Somehow he must make sense of his father's mysterious drawings and solve a family secret from the past: the Ormond Singularity. Well that‘s April done, a much better reading month.

26 books read, 7 physical books, 8 ebooks, 11 audiobooks. Close to 10,000 pages read and 328 pages on average a day.

Water and Earth by John Boyne
No Sweet Sorrow by Denzil Meyrick
None of this is True by Lisa Jewell
Devil You Know by Neil Lancaster
Murder on the Clyde by Daniel Sellers
A Stranger in the Family by Jane Casey
Stop Them Dead by Peter James

I got up to date on 5 series.

Andrew65 My favourite Audiobook was The Dutch House by Ann Patchett read by Tom Hanks

20 of the the 26 books were series books. #SeriesLove2024 @TheSpineView

Repost for @TheAromaofBooks

Well friends, there is only a week left of March! What even! I'm not going to lie, I've been way more into playing Stardew Valley this week than reading, so maybe a new list is what I need to spice things back up 😂 If you're interested in spinning along for April, it's time to think about your lists. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is hoping to read!!

TheAromaofBooks Thank you for the repost!! 8mo

Bluebird Great list! I‘ll be interested to hear what you think of the Shipman book. I first heard of him from my recent read of Madness of Crowds and became intrigued. I read quite a bit on the web and was planning to look for a book about him. 2y
EadieB @Bluebird The book is on hoopla and is only 31 pages. I heard about him from Andrew when he commented about a true crime book I was reading. He also mentioned about the other book I‘m going to read Fred and Rose. They are more interesting than Shipman and their book is on Hoopla too. 2y
Bluebird Thanks @Eadie! I‘ll see if my Hoopla library has them 2y

April 2021 wrap up:
11 books including: #BookSpin #DoubleSpin with a bingo
#Fairytalereadingchallenge #Readingwithmaja
#Aussie and some books from previous readathons were read late. I just want to finish books selected in those activities to reduce my old tbr list.
Some books were not my favorites but not reject here. They were books I wanted to read but I discovered that they didn‘t work for me.

Here‘s what I read in April. All of these books are ARCs that I won from Goodreads giveaways. The only book I read physically was Cygnet but it was a DNF for me. I only read the first 60 pages and I wasn‘t interested enough to continue reading it. I listened to the other books on audio. I‘m happy with the amount of books I read but I‘m disappointed because I only liked 1 book that I read.
