Day 7 - Wine
pickSuch a good book! It draws you in quickly and keeps you coming back. A sweeping family saga & devastating family secrets. I enjoyed the wine facts and the plot. But do feel that the ball was dropped on the Italian side of the story. What happened to the house Caterina inherited? Did she keep it? Did she & Santos ever go back? It's like this part of the story fell away and didn't come back. Other than that, I enjoyed this book (cont in comments)..

Carolyn , I‘m blown away ! I cant believe you sent a bottle of red wine from Australia!! And it arrived in perfect condition. Thankyou my friend. There could be a song written about this bottle. What a lovely surprise... we will try very hard to wait for 6 months .... or ideally 2 to 3 years 🤦🏻♀️help !! Found this "big bad red blend" at the grocery store tonight. Thought the story book name was so cute I had to buy it. ?? #onceuponavine #anditsgood
so-soThis book started off well and hooked me in. A lot of info about making wine and it was written in an enjoyable way. But honestly, the ending was abrupt and left me feeling "meh" about the story. Not sure what happened there because the rest of the book felt like good character/story development.

A novel of Wine and Secrets is an accurate description of this wonderful book! I just finished it and would read it again! Definitely add it to your Summer reading list!
