When your Litsy friend, @GreenGrl87 visits from out of state, you make the short drive to meet up for food and shopping at the Book Loft! We lost each other in the amid the 32 rooms full of books but reunited after finding one (or 8) new books to buy.

Although the Book Loft (Columbus, Ohio) is 45mins from here, I love visiting when I can. I couldn't find a picture that really captures the delight of this bookshop, full of tiny rooms, staircases, and book nooks. Such a fabulous place to wander!!

While in Columbus for Obsessed Fest, my daughter and I went to The Book Loft, an indie bookstore. 32 rooms of books!! And yes, we got turned around once and slightly lost. It was AMAZING.

1. Tagged is the closest indie store to me... still about an hour away but always worth the drive!!! A rabbit warren of rooms and passageways all filled with books!!
2. Not usually. I actually go the other way. I have a small, pocket-sized notebook that has a lot of the books I already own written in it so I don't double-buy LOL Mostly series that I am slowly collecting, like the Amelia Peabody books, or ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) everything written by PG Wodehouse. Sometimes I can't remember which ones I've already purchased, and which ones I've just read from the library but don't own yet!!

ravenlee Schmidt‘s Sausage Haus just down the street has amazing (and huge) cream puffs, including a chocolate peanut butter one. Just saying... Book Loft is one of my all-time favorite bookstores. And I haven‘t lived in Columbus in 15 years. 5y
