A good enough book, with a good enough ending. This would be an interesting movie. The dramaaa.

Story was ok. I didn‘t feel the attachment to any characters like I usually do with her books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Here‘s another EH book that reminds me of her Winter Street series and the dysfunctional Quinn family. Here we have a famous chef with 2 ex wives and a current one when he suddenly drops dead and they all have to come together and find a way to get along. Another pick. 4⭐️

I step into Elin‘s books with pad & paper. She makes me want to understand her entire cast. I‘ve realized that if I map out the relationship between her characters up front, I‘ll enjoy her story more. I really enjoyed reading these three women come together to discover their bonds to each other for each having loved the same man.

Another Elin Hilderbrand novel that did not disappoint. Although this one was a bit lighter than Summer of 69‘ I enjoyed it just as much. One beach cottage, 3 ex-wives, tons of secrets and years of resentment all packaged into a summer weekend. #PopSummer2020 #SummerRomance 🎧♥️
I‘m still having loads of fun with this audiobook 🎧❣️Three ex-wives, three children ( one from each marriage) and one best friend to celebrity chef, Deacon Thorpe, gather on Nantucket to spread his ashes. It‘s #LitLite 😁#PopSummer2020
I wasn‘t joking when I said I was diving right into Elin Hilderbrand‘s backlist 😛#PopSummer2020

Deacon has died and all his ex-wives get together at his home, to throw his ashes into the water.
Each wife gets to know each other over the course of a week, and find out the house they are in is split three ways.
I enjoyed reading this one. I will enjoy reading more of this Author in the future
This is the third of Hildebrand‘s books that I have enjoyed in audio version. I picked up on the reference to an event that happened in her book The Rumor. I still have a couple of her books on my TBR shelf. Her books are great for vacation, beach/lake reads. She definitely has a fondness for Nantucket, and I like that she throws in recipes.
I needed another easy listen after the hurricane build up and let down( to which I‘m not complaining). Tomorrow I think I can do a little more serious reading. This book was a 3.5 stars.
This was as expected. Lots of Nantucket scenery and rich white people problems. A basic beach read.
I‘m not going to the beach this year, so I‘m doing my beach reading at home. 🏖
This was a good vacation read book. An interesting story.......light and not too deep.
1st book finished in #24B4Monday.My goal is to complete books that I already started to read.I read 103 pages to finish the book.As it is common in this author, this is another family drama developed in Nantucket with funny scenes. The Nantucket house must be divided between 2 ex-wives and the widow. All of them will share a weekend at the beach house with their children😱3.4⭐️ from ok-to-soso @TheReadingMermaid @Andrew65 @jb72 🤗mug by @hermyknee

Definitely only a so-so read for me but I felt like that might be a possibility going into it. The plot/storyline wasn‘t terrible but the characters did absolutely nothing for me, at all. Famous chef Deacon Thorpe dies and his 3 wives/children gather at his beloved Nantucket home to say goodbye. You can imagine the drama that ensues but unfortunately none of the characters were enjoyable much less love able. An ok read.
Not a bad contribution to the #bfc goal for the day. Still have some piddling to do around the house while getting ready for my vacation.

I liked this book. It was a nice easy enjoyable "beach read". I am an Elin Hilderbrand fan but for some reason didn't read it when it was first published. I'm glad it was on my list to read this summer.
Super fun read! It was like I was living the story. Believable characters, solid story line, and light and easy to read making it the perfect book for any summer or vacation read.
Good little book. Chef Deacon Thorpe dies. His three ex wives & kids gather at family beach house in Nantucket. Lies, tears and drama. Easy to sink into this one. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Getting another big snow storm here, so reading about beaches and sunshine was a good escape!
This book is definitely a #familyaffair
3 women, all married to Deacon at one time through the years ... and his tragic death... they share an unbreakable bond with Deacon, but can they all come together to carry out his final wish?

Crowdsourcing time! I decided to catch up on @elinhilderbrand backlist in lieu of The Identicals this summer - anyone care to weigh in on which one I should pick??
I always enjoy Elin hilderbrand, I consider her one of my favorite authors although that list is admittedly long! For some reason, I found this book a little bit more difficult to get into. It just didn't Captivate me like her others. Having said that, the story came together in the last third of the book for me and it did include recipes which is always a bonus (I'll be making at least 1 of them). Still, a decent read and I would recommend it.
Found this on the shelf, and realized I did not read last year's Hilderbrand novel.
I always look forward to reading Elin Hilderbrand's books. While I enjoyed Here's to Us, it just lacked a little something that her other books have. It didn't draw me in and leave me as emotionally vested as usual.
Entertaining. Three wives/ex-wives and their children spend the weekend at their recently deceased husband/ex-husband's vacation home and all sorts of drama ensues. I listened to the audiobook while doing stuff around the house. I wouldn't listen to it around kids, though. I'll chalk this one up to a guilty pleasure read
Her books are usually a nice beach read, and a good deal today! I really have enjoyed the first two of her holiday trilogy, nice for my yearly "Christmas trash" read.:)
Cute. There were some eye rolling incidents: Belinda who is described as having milky white skin and strawberry blond hair was nominated for an Oscar for playing Cleopatra. Somewhere the book mentioned she played someone from Vietnam. But I liked it.
Loved! Always love her books. This was not one of her best though.
Book set by the sea. All of Elin Hildebrand books are set in Nantucket. #somethingforseptember #septphotochallenge #Day20
On my Libro.fm queue. I can't wait to listen to This one! #librofm #somethingforsept #bookssetbythesea @RealLifeReading
This book definitely #mademehungry. All of her books highlight food, but this one centered on it when a celebrity chef passes away, leaving a mess for his family to clean up. Recipes included which only served to make my mouth water even more! #somethingforsept #septemberphotochallenge @RealLifeReading
Elin Hilderbrand will never disappoint me with her writing. I've never been to Nantucket. I doubt I'll ever get there. But her ability to make me feel like I've just vacationed there for the last 400 pages is amazing. Add to that her ability to make me feel "all the feels" through each of her characters, and I'm a goner. I will always read her books. I will always do so as soon as they are released. And you should too. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
