Here's my list for October. I had a couple books that I kept passing over for challenge prompts so I swapped them out for a few new ones. Three are already in progress so I'm hoping this is a strong month.

Didn‘t do too great in October, life hit kinda hard. But I did get my #doublespin book finished at least 😅

Hey-oh!
So I know I am posting this more than a month in advance, but I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I‘ll be hosting a photo challenge for the month of October. With my birthday being on November 1st, Halloween has always been my favourite holiday. So use the #BlackCatChallenge hashtag, and tag me in your daily pics. Every post will be an entry for a Fall/Halloween giveaway. More details to come! 🧟♂️🧛🏼♂️🧙♂️☠️🎃👻
Goodreads isn't recording my stats properly and it's driving me spare! So, after a slight delay, here's my monthly roundup. I don't generally read a lot of YA but I read some superb examples this month #bestofoctober #uncannyoctober
October is going to be the busiest month the Sauer family has had for a while, so I don't anticipate much reading time and thus not much for me to post about. But this is my favorite photo challenge I've seen so far (many of the others are too specific for me) so I think I'll commit to it in an attempt to stay active. 🤗
Shelfie and orange books coming at you later today!

Everyone ready for @Jess7 's #SpookyOctober photo challenge? I find it easiest to screenshot this, so I can reference it throughout the month. Then use the hashtag on the days you post, so all the other participants can find you. It also helps to add a daily hashtag (i.e. for October 1, I'd use #OctoberTBR)

1: Halloween -best day of the year! ??
2: Winter, snuggled with a tea and a blanket.
3: Victorian, Ancient Greek/ Roman, future.
4: It depends on my stress levels. The more stressed I am the more I buy. On average (d0.
5: New worlds created by the author
6: Tiredness or having the wrong book.
7: No but there are lots.
My October stats. My other favorites would be a reread of Kushiel's Dart and In a Dark, Dark Wood, which was the best thriller I've read in a while. Looking forward to reading some more diverse authors this month, and shifting away from the horror/ thriller focus of October. Yay books!
Happy October, Littens!!!!
