A cute and witchy cozy that I enjoyed very much!! I love Alistair and all of kitty shenanigans!! Can‘t wait to read more of this series!!
Thank you @Chrissyreadit … I love the back to school theme and all of these things will come in handy these next few weeks 🤓
I enjoyed this cozy mystery. As expected in a cozy mystery, there was a murder in this small neighborhood. How the mystery was resolved is what I liked in this story. I wish I could sense things in the way this character did (no spoiler). I think I will like to have a cat 🐈⬛ like Allister. ☺️
I‘m planning to read the other two books in this series. 3.5⭐️

Thank you @BKLover 🥰
This was a cute little cozy mystery. A bit of a different format than I would have guessed for this genre. But it was cute... Could JuJuB be my familiar? Probably not... he is too self-centered! (#DogsOfLitsy)

Finished my #WeekendReading book :) @Andrew65

I loved this cozy. Annabelle decides to visit an old friend in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. There she meets a cat, gets mixed up in a murder mystery meets a coven, and learns some witchcraft 🧙🏻♀️

I challenge @shellleigh33 @QuietlyLaura @batsy to find some spring green on your shelves 😝
Snuck away from my work trip (I had a 15 hour day yesterday so I feel entitled) to check out a local brewery and read my nook. I am the only woman in the whole bar 😆😆 The beer is good and I *love* this book so far!
So far so good. Had to re read about 3 times because somehow I would completely forget to continue reading.
#cozyinthesun Book #2 This was a fun cozy! I wish I had a "familiar" ?⭐⭐⭐
@Librarybelle @ferskner
I really liked the book. It had a similar take on a few other cozy mysteries I've read but it was enjoyable. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I loved all of the wizard of Oz references. Think I will have to watch the movie over the weekend
This #CozyMystery looks right up my alley! (AND it has cats!) 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thank you so much, @BethM #CupidGoesPostal
I was out of town since last Wednesday. I came home to some #bookmail! I'm so excited for the #SSS and to read the Osiris Ritual.
@Avanders
I went on a bit of a book buying binge on #Amazon and #bookoutlet. I must now institute a book buying ban (except for gifts). Now, can I be strong enough to not buy another book until the next library book sale in December?!? #bookwormproblems
My hold on this expired so I bought the ebook. While I eventually guessed at the killer, it took a good long time and I didn‘t have all the dynamics correct. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable book with the right amounts of mystery and magic. Once my library holds gets under control I‘ll definitely be reading or listening to more!
I‘m really enjoying this audio! Only problem is several holds came it at once 😱
A magical start to the weekend.
Knocking off a cat mystery for my GoodReads group
My buy 3 get 1 free book haul. It's filling missing links in a few series, and to make the maths work, a couple new to me series.
The first book in the Witch's Cat cozy mystery series. It had elements I really like - cats, New England setting and magic - but it was just okay to me. A little longer than most cozy mysteries, I also had a hard time connecting with the main character, Anna Britton.
#Zeke and #Vladimir have kept me company as I finished this book...my very good companions! #catsoflitsy
Didn't quite finish this one in time, so back on hold it goes...
Someone requested this at the library, which means I have to finish this by Friday. It's a cozy, so it shouldn't be hard to do, but one never knows what may happen between now and Friday...
A quick and cute cozy. A little bit of witchcraft and a cast of real characters. The only thing that I had trouble with was there were a lot of characters to remember who was who. My fault because I put it down for almost two weeks.
I won't be able to read A Familiar Tale because I reserved a ton of books and they all came in closer together than I expected and they won't let me renew this one. So, I slipped a homemade thematic bookmark into it so that I at least left something with it from its time with me. Lol. I'll check it out again when I have time to read it ASAP. #wicca #blessedbe #deliajames
Beautiful cover, competent writing & editing, characters I liked, authentic description of Portsmouth, NH & cool touches of witchery, but the mystery was so dumb that (although I kept reading) by the end I didn't care who did it. IMHO this would have been better as romance sans attempt at mystery.
I'm a recovering Disciplined Reader. I can make myself read anything, which got me through Moby Dick (twice) and law school. So after the emotionally draining "In Cold Blood," I felt slacker-y for needing this mystery with witches and magic cats. I need to remember that these days, I read for joy.
