Part 1
Here is my final #BookSpinBingo board for July. It was a good reading month despite the DNFs and disappointments.
I finished 18 books in July, which is about max-capacity for me, and while my average rating for the month is, well, average for me, and there were some books I really enjoyed, July feels like it was mostly disappointing. Here‘s hoping I end August feeling better about what I‘ve read.

I am bailing on Beasts of Carnaval. I wanted to love it, switched to audio to try to force myself to love it, and am now actively avoiding reading because I don‘t want to pick it back up. So, with that, I have best #bookspin bingo board to date. 5 bingos and both my bookspin and double spin completed. At least I accomplished one thing this month. 😭
Mid-month check in. I‘m doing really well but I need to focus more on my #14Books14Weeks books. I have 30 to go and I‘m not sure I‘ll make it.

July #BookSpinBingo 🎆
Surprised that the BookSpin pull was an actual book since my list this month is mostly free spaces. Going to try for a blackout because I‘d like to stay far away from doomscrolling the rest of the month. I‘ve seen enough 🫣🔥
Bookspin Bingo board and July TBR with book clubs, buddy reads, NetGalley digital arcs, and library books. I won‘t get through everything. I have an extra couple of days off work, though, and that will help. Maybe. 🤣🤣
I was so happy to get to work and see the #Bookspin and #BookspinBingo numbers were already drawn as I was looking for a way to procrastinate getting work done. 🤪

July #BookSpin is pretty much going to be a FREE for all. I rolled over unused free spaces from the beginning of the year to July. I‘ll do the same in December. No freebies left behind!! Trying for some #ChristmasInJuly shenanigans as well. I found some holiday kindle books on the recent Stuff Your Kindle Day so those are on my #ReadYourKindle list for July too. 🎄☀️
Here are my July #Roll100 picks. I put in free spaces to allow for my mood reading but this month it‘s giving me anxiety. My brain is so weird sometimes.
@puddlejumper
Well my July #Bookspin list is easy. I really need to dig in on #14Books14Weeks and could really do with catching up on #Roll100
@TheAromaofBooks
Oh I didn‘t know The StoryGraph‘s new monthly wrap up feature did this too. I love it.

July wrap up 🤍
3 of the books I read over months hence the 31 days on average to finish.
More start tomorrow when I am hopefully less sleepy.

Finished #BookspinBingo board for the month. IG is really degrading my original image. I might have to switch to canva or something.

I read 12 books this month, LOVED more than half of them, got a double bingo, bailed on my #bookspin, and really enjoyed my #doublespin. I don‘t know how I‘m going to pick a favorite, though. I gave 5 of these 5 stars and they‘re so different and wonderful in different ways. The best I can do is narrow it down to Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus, Like Mother Like Mother, and Lore Olympus.
July #BookspinBingo board is ready to go. My #Bookspin is An ARC and my #Doublespin is a Death by TBR pick which is actually going to be all of my books this month if I can help it. Perusing_the_pages is running this challenge over on IG if you are curious or want to join. #DeathByTBRChallenge
July was my best reading month so far this year. Got carried away and used up my free spaces so book 2 and 3 of the Bill Hodges series became side quests 😂 Also made #BookSpinBingo 2 ways. Onto August!
Had to actually work at work this week so I‘m just getting around to my Wrapup.

I got a lot of reading done in July - finishing 18 and carrying over 2, maybe 3. I may bail on Bad Monkey. Dead of Winter remains the favorite, barely edging out Fallen. Iron Gold was a reread and almost as brutal as the first time. The Beatrice Hyde-Clare series binge was mostly fun, but I‘m not sure I‘ll finish it this month. I may need a break. #julywrapup #julystats
Calling it a wrap on July #BookspinBingo
Two bingos and I read my #Bookspin and #Doublespin. Not too shabby.
Here is what I finished or bailed on this month. Very so-so month except for The Border and Yellowface.
I knew Yours Truly would be my favorite of the month halfway though reading it. This couple made me so giddy and happy. It was great.

I put my #JulyTBR together based on NetGalley July releases and #camplitsy2023. As I look at this, I realize that I am not looking forward to most of it. There‘s a really good chance that I say eff it to at least half. 😬
Here‘s hoping the #bookspin gods smile upon me and pick good books from that list. 🤞🏻
How in the heck is it July already?!?! Summer needs to slow down!! This photo challenge looks like fun… can‘t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

It‘s almost July & that means more birthday celebrations 🎉🎂. Here are the wonderful #LitsyLove members celebrating birthdays next month.

I‘m early! I‘ve also strayed from my floral ways and idk how I feel about it. 🤷🏾♀️ Honestly I‘m sleep deprived and unsure of everything. 🤦🏾♀️

A pretty decent reading month. I wasn‘t exactly reading really difficult books, but still it was nice to get back into the swing of things with more than a book or two read. #julyreading #bookly
This was a good weekend for finishing things and bumping up my total items read stats. I read 20 books, novellas, and comics and really enjoyed the vast majority of things I read. My work book club pick was excruciatingly disappointing but more than half of what I read were 4-5 star reads. I‘m happy with that.
Late posting but joining in for #JubilantJuly ☀️ Instead of posting a TBR I‘m going to try to read 10 books. I know that seems like a lot but I have a handful of #ChristmasInJuly picture books and middle grade too that I‘m working through.
I‘m late posting but I‘ve been utterly unmotivated. My #Bookspin is The Spanish Love Deception and my #DounleBookspin is a Library Book which I happened to finish today. So I got a little kickstart. I hope to make a big dent this month as my library hold keep rolling in fast and furious but only time will tell.
Happy Reading Everyone.
Does this count as my July #BFC2022 goals? I think I‘m good for the rest of the month lol jk

I have time consuming personal projects that will eat into my reading time, so we‘ll see how I do with this #julytbr. I had a June TBR of 15 books. I read 4, bailed on 4, and didn‘t touch the others. This month‘s list has 17 books-work book club, current audiobook, 5 NetGalley ARCs with July and August publication dates, 8 McIlvanney prize longlist/backlist books from the library, 1 random library book, and an audiobook for #readingafrica2022.
July‘s #Roll100 selections
Witching Hour has been on the physical TBR for over a year, so I‘m glad this will prompt me to get to it.
Unknown why I stacked Pollan‘s because I was really lukewarm on Omnivore‘s Dilemma.
And the Warhol bio was a freebie on audible, maybe I‘ll make some art while I listen.
