I went to a bookstore today and brought home two new additions to my horde of books. I made a deal with my partner that I would start reading a book on my TBR. So here I am fulfilling that promise and finally finishing this universe 😋

2023 Reads Continued.....☀️ Holiday in Greece
ROW - Great conclusion to the Duology. Seemed to set it up for the next in Grishaverse novels
TDATDW - was a tad dull tbh. 500+ pages for very little pay off. Disappointed as Evelyn was so good.
TSBCGTSV - I liked the 90s setting and the housewives trying to keep up appearances vibes.
Was quite creepy in places.
This book had everything, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, it even made me cry about half way through and it's very rare that a book makes me cry. I loved everything with Nikolai and Zoya plus the cameos from several characters from other books in the series. The ending really set it up for another book which I hope will happen sometime in the near future.
I finished re-reading the Grishaverse. I'm still holding out hope that there will be another book set in this universe because I love it so much.
Hi, my name is Lia and I‘m a Grishaverse addict🙂 That last line of the book was 😱 Again Nikolai and Zoya just one of the best slow burn love stories. So happy for Nina and Hanne but will always miss Mattahis. Genya 💔💔💔 Loved spending time with my Crows!!! Kaz, Jesper and Wylan just wish more Inej but my girl busy tar and feathering slavers so I understand 😂 can‘t wait for the second season of Shadow and Bone❤️
It‘s always a pleasure to spend time in the Greishaverse with these characters so yeah, this was another fun read with all the expected (and hoped for, of course) elements—Nikolai doing everything he can to save the day, Nina working under extremely dangerous conditions to aid his cause, Zoya grappling with just how far she‘ll have to go to use her own powers. And then that ending…Needless to say, I enjoyed it.
This book has sat on my shelves far too long…long enough that my daughter is deeply disappointed in me and more than a little frustrated we haven‘t been able to talk about it yet. 😬😂 That gets remedied today! So far it‘s every bit as good as I expected. Bardugo never disappoints.
A fitting end to this duology, but clearly not the end of this story. I loved the ending and am excited to see what‘s next for Zoya, Nina and the whole Ketterdam crew in whatever Bardugo writes next for the Grishaverse.
I took my time finishing this book because I wasn‘t ready for the Grishaverse series to end. This genre is not my usual go to but I was really drawn to many of the characters and enjoyed the witty banter that Bardugo writes so well. The Six of Crows duology is still my favorite but I think she wrapped up the series nicely here. I‘m curious to know if this is really the end of the Grishaverse or whether she will return to it in the future.
I love this world and it‘s characters, but this book took me forever to get through. There is just WAY too much packed in here which made pacing rough. Some scenes were awkwardly and unnecessarily included just to get a favorite character involved…. Which feels cheap. And, of course, an opening for another book. But I‘ve had this on my #bookspinbingo list every month this year and it‘s finally read.
I enjoyed this (current) finale of this duology and the Grishaverse. I cannot talk much about it without lots of spoilers. I know this isn‘t as popular but I actually preferred this over the original trilogy, but not as strong as the Crows duology. Excellent on audiobook!4⭐️
“We‘re all monsters now.” Last one in the series!
I. Finally. Finished. It. This was a bit of a struggle. I was really really sad to leave these characters behind and very attached to all of them. I found it hard to turn the pages because of that. I kept thinking something horrific was about to happen. I skim read parts just so I could make it. But then, close to the end- holy plot twist Batman! Stick it out kids 😅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not my favorite grishaverse book (that‘s still SOC), but a good read!
Nina is still my favorite, I loved her pov. Every chapter had different pov and it wasn't really fun every time.
Nina's story was the most thrilling because she was living so dangerous life. Otherwise this had a tiny bit more politics & war that I would have preferred.
This book managed to make me feel something and I enjoyed reading.

“In the stories, love healed your wounds, fixed what was broken, allowed you to go on. But love wasn‘t a spell, some kind of benediction to be whispered, a balm or a cure-all. It was a single, fragile thread, which grew stronger through connection, through shared hardship and trust.“
“If you would try, if you would be willing to fail, you would learn. It‘s good to do things you‘re not good at.“
“I find life quite unbearable without laughter.“
I loved revisiting this world. Bardugo sure knows how to tell a story! As I have come to expect from the author, there was awesome world building, fabulous characters and a fast paced plot. A great adventure! Can't wait to read what she has in store for readers next. 4.5⭐

A Year In Books - My Reads of 2021 - Day 4
::Books of April 2021::
•Favorite Book of April '21: Rule of Wolves
°Skyhunter
°Star Daughter
Not a very productive month reading wise for April.
7th book in this series. I‘m really enjoying this YA series. This book didn‘t disappoint me. Full of actions, various twists, sad and funny scenes. We see some characters from Six of crow duology. Many characters can be described as “Ulfleden-wolf-blooded” which means “when a child is odd, behaves strangely...her (his) place is with the wolves...she (he) doesn‘t belong”. I think I‘m wolf-blooded, welcome to the pack 🐺 3.8/4⭐️
This is not the end
Leigh Bardugo just can't go wrong, I haven't read anything by her I just didn't fall face first into love! Rule of Wolves follows our favorite Ravkan characters Nikolai and Zoya trying to stop war with the Fjerda and Nina, one of the character loves of my life undercover trying not to fall in love herself while mourning in Fjreda. I open these books and it feels like home with how real the world has been built and how much I love the stories.
This was FANTASTIC I love how all the stories came together and just a satisfying end with an opening for more.
Hey everyone! It‘s been a while! Life happened and I‘ve been off of Litsy but I‘m happy to be back. :)
And that‘s a wrap on Shadow and Bone. If anything, expect nothing less from Leigh Bardugo. The plot and the characters are well developed, especially Zoya.
Like the previous books, the ending isn‘t what I expected. It took me completely by surprise. It‘s bittersweet now that I‘m done with the series but I highly recommend it!

Good grief. What a tome. Been at it for three days and only at the halfway point… not that‘s it‘s not pulling me in, it‘s just so much to absorb. Poor Nikolai and his desperate posse… things do turn worse. #fantasy #duology #grishaverse Plus my beautiful red plant. #springisspringing #sunshine

While I‘m still enthralled with the book and will be finished, I wanted to mark the page in which I officially started my critical review of Bardugo and the Grishaverse as a whole. Still enough book to turn some thoughts more positively but this book ruined a lot of my enjoyment of the series
Started RULE OF WOLVES yesterday at work and I‘m already over 200 pages. I originally didn‘t enjoy the first book in this duology but I think reading them in order this time allowed me to appreciate the story more than I previously could.
I finished this one yesterday, continues the story from King of Scars. I enjoyed it and was happy with the ending. It does look like the ending is left open for another book. Not sure if she needs to write more though.
I need help! What do you guys do with all the bookish swag that comes from preorders? I didn't realize it but I'm starting to get quite the collection of prints, pins and cards (this isn't nearly all of it) and I have no idea what to do with it! Throw me your ideas!!

Just finished Rule of Wolves today and I have SO many feelings!
I love Leigh Bardugo‘s books so much, but I always have a hard time getting thru them. It takes me a lot longer to read her books than it would normally take me to read a book of the same size.
It‘s so worth it tho, her characters are just 🤌🏼
Now on to The Atlas Six
So fun! I didn‘t like this quite as much as King of Scars, since it relied pretty heavily—especially in the first third—on one of my bookish pet peeves, but Bardugo pulled it off well. And she definitely pulled off a few twists at the end that I didn‘t see coming but was completely satisfied by!
Also… hopefully another book coming soon with more Inej? 😄
I really enjoyed this book...not only because we saw my favorite characters again (crows) but also because it was an awesome story! I mean, Sankta Zoya of the Storm! I give this book 9/10🍪 I HATE that this is the last grishaverse story...for now...anyway.
Raise your hand if you knew that random elderly beggar was actually Kaz long before Nikolai and Zoya did 😂🙋🏻♀️

I really loved this book. The world that Leigh Bardugo has created is genius and keeps growing stronger with every book. There were several great twists, the story never let up, Nicholai is such a lovable character, and the ending was brilliant.
By finishing #RuleOfWolves, I am now done with all the existing #Grishaverse books! I still have to watch the show though.
The ending also promises something very exciting! I don‘t think this will be the last time we see these characters...
