Love this series
#MWS #modernwitchswap this or that … sorry for how many times I had to choose both!
I am so enjoying this series! Mitch has always been a great character, it was great to see more of him, and see him a bit more serious and vulnerable. I absolutely wanted to smack April up side the head a few times though. #ispybingo: sword

March's top book was a tie. Luck is set aboard the Titanic and acknowledges the presence of the few Chinese folks on the doomed voyage. Well Matched is book 3 in a series, featuring a modern-day alpha male who wears a kilt at a summer Renaissance Fair and a love interest about 10 years older than him. Love for the 40 year old! HUZZAH!
Honorable mention to Greek classic Lysistrata that was better than I anticipated.
OMG you guys. I adore this series and I can‘t wait to start the next one. The Faire is something I look forward to every year, so reading it during the off season helps! I love series like this, where a side character from the previous becomes the main character in the next. I was not expecting the twists and turns and it had my attention from the first page. I highly recommend this series! Just enough spice balanced with plenty of sweet!
I couldn't stand April, who was not “well matched” with Mitch! Her negativity about everything, her insta-judgement on everyone, her obesession with what everyone else thought about her, & obliviousness to how her lack of interest/involvement in anything affected her daughter just made me angry. Mitch is by far the highlight of this book, and he deserved to end up with someone awesome, which to me, wasn't April.
It's always nice to return to my favorite fictional Ren faire ☺️ I love these characters and I'm glad we finally got April's story. Mitch is definitely my favorite of all the love interests from this series! He is super caring and genuine and sweet. Plus I love a good fake dating trope
This was my July #bookspin and part of my #SeriesRead2022 @TheAromaofBooks @TheSpineView
Been waiting ages to read this and couldn‘t resist when it came down to 99p on kindle the other day! I loved April and Mitch‘s story. I‘m also now very keen to get dressed up in a bodice and head out to a renaissance fair!
The third in this Renaissance Faire-themed romance series is just as fun as the first two! April (older sister of Emily from book one) is a single mom whose teen daughter is about to leave for college, and Mitch is the younger man in a kilt who needs April to be his fake girlfriend so his family will respect him.
@Kar2b you spoiled me!! I cannot believe how above and beyond you went for my #sliceofsummerswap ! I'm so excited about the books and I am in love with the Pride and Prejudice print. Thank you thank you thank you!!
This third book is definitely my favorite from this series so far. Open door romance fake dating trope with characters a little closer to my own age. Maybe that is why I connected with them more. Never wanted to visit a Renaissance Faire before reading The Well Met series.
It annoyed me that heroine couldn't sit down and talk things through, but the book is cute and entertaining, although I expected it to be more humorous 😁
And great news! Book #4 Well Traveled is expected this year!!!
Cute! Fun to read, but I got tired of the MC‘s recurrent doubt because it felt like it was literally coming from nowhere. There was nothing about Mitch that made it seem like he was a player or not in it for real. I liked the single mom representation, though, and the friend group. Always a sucker for fake dating!
This was a fun and steamy story, it's part of a series, while I haven't read the others it is still readable as a standalone. Both the main characters were funny. It's kind of predictable but sometimes that's what you need.
I had been highly anticipating this addition to the series ever since I read the first book and it did not disappoint.
5 adorable and perfect stars.
Enjoyed this contemporary romance. I have been meaning to read Well Met for a while but this one was available and I needed a sweet escape read. Highly recommend if you‘re looking for that too.
This book is a fantastic edition to the Well Met series! I have a new found respect for Mitch and I love that I‘ve been able to connect with each heroine in a different way.

It was fun to be back at the Renaissance Faire in Willow Creek! The books in this series never “wow” me, but they have a light, fun, and comforting feel that make them enjoyable. I really liked April and Mitch and I‘m a sucker for a fake dating plot! 🎧
I adore this series so much! Mitch and April‘s story was just what I needed right now. #swoonathon
This week was a busy one and I didn‘t get much reading done. Hoping to finish Not the Witch You Wed today and maybe Our Violent Ends.
#WeekendReading @Andrew65
I read this in a day 🤣 this series is delightful and I‘m happy to see a fourth is coming featuring Lulu, Mitch‘s cousin
Happy New Year!
Finally got my hands on this one and it was a great start to 2022. Some yumy Rose and a stellar read!
Looking forward to another amaxing year with my Litsy family!
Happy Reading everyone!
This series is great. That being said this was probably my least favorite book of the series. I like April and Mitch, but I just didn‘t feel the same spark as there was between Emily and Simon. Also the “no kids” issue was resolved too easily and it didn‘t sit right with me. I just needed more emotion in this story overall. Otherwise it was a nice light read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Low pick for me. Mitch is so awesome, and I‘m glad he got his story and I knew it would be April…but I have never ever liked April and after reading an entire book from her perspective I still don‘t. She can‘t tell the difference between genuine anxiety issues and sheer bitchiness, and it affects her relationships with everybody in her life. I don‘t like her martyr attitude (I‘m not a single mom but I am a SAHM homeschool mom so I get it). 👇🏻
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is my favorite in this Ren Faire romance series so far. I love the fake dating trope, and I found April relatable as a main character. It was nice to see an older female protagonist who was, realistically, prickly & set in her ways.
Also it‘s always nice to learn the backstory of someone who always seems happy & self-confident, and, of course, it was fun to catch up with the other people we know from previous books in Willow Haven.
The premise of this series, backdrop of a Renaissance Faire, is what snagged my attention. The first two books were great. I love the first person POV, as it usually lends to less frustration for me. The MC in this just had too much second guessing of herself for me to really enjoy this entry. Gotta love Mitch though!!Here‘s hoping the next one is better! 3.5 stars
Enjoyed Mitch & April‘s love story more than the previous book. Mitch is a fun, lovable character. Some steamy scenes. Tropes of pretending to date & the one bed, which is always fun, IMO. Characters from the previous 2 books are involved. Used this for my library‘s book challenge prompt of a comfort book.
Almost every Litsy reviewer describes "Well Matched" as their favorite of the series. Well, throw me on the bandwagon because yes, I love this book the best too! I've been waiting for April and Mitch's story since day one and they do not disappoint. Mitch is so adorable and I find April to be totally relatable. Even though I am not a big fan of the fake dating trope, DeLuca makes it work. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
#bookmail is the best mail! Finally got my copy of the tagged, courtesy of Cavalier House Books (thank you!), plus another couple I‘ve been eyeing. Now I‘m trying to decide if I want to dive into April‘s story or do a trilogy reread…decisions, decisions…
4/5
A super sweet book following Mitch and April. April's whole life has been about raising her daughter and protecting herself from hurt and judgement. Now that her daughter is leaving for college she has to figure out what's next in her life.
A great addition to the series! I adore Mitch and thrilled to see him get the HEA he deserves 😍 #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks #romantsy
After a month of thrillers and mysteries, I was in the mood for something fluffy. The latest book in the Well Met series had come in for me at the library, so it felt like the time was right!! While I did enjoy this one, I have to say it's a soft pick for me, mainly because April is sooo bitchy about everything and everyone. I felt frustrated with her because she kept going on about how excited she was to "finally" be an empty-nester and how ⬇️
#BookReport - Well, I did finish three of my projected books, plus a bonus book on home organization that wasn't even on my radar last weekend LOL I also finished The Safest Lies, which I had just started last Sunday & forgot to include in my picture. Currently, though, I'm reading the tagged book rather than continuing the Shetland Island books. It looks like Rosalie is also going to carry into November, despite it being October's #LMPBC book 😬
Jen DeLuca is one of the few authors that will keep me up too late, then have me up again the next morning to finish the last three chapters. This is my favorite in the Willow Creek series. I think it has to be. April is so relatable— a single mom figuring out what she wants as her kid gets ready to leave the nest. She‘s not a “joiner”, but what does she need for her next step?
A friends to lovers with fake dating. Love Mitch. Team kilt 4ever.
This was super cute! Probably my favorite of the series. Can be read as a standalone-this is an older woman/younger man rom com and there‘s a little bit of home renovation and Ren Faire. 4⭐️
