I read all the shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella. I loved that series as a fun read. This book definitely had her tone. It wasn‘t my favorite but I did like it. I read it quickly and had a couple thought provoking quips. I wouldn‘t reread it but I‘m glad I picked it up from the library.

Anyone else want to play? @DarkMina you play yet?
This was a cute Rom-com. Pretty funny too
He was a stranger. He was supposed to be a stranger. As I travel home that evening, I‘m still reeling with the injustice of it all. The whole point about strangers is, they disappear into the ether and you never see them again. They don‘t turn up at the office. They don‘t ask you what eight nines are. They don‘t turn out to be your mega-boss employer. Well, all I can say is, that‘s taught me.
I absolutely loved this had me in stitches at times, so funny. I really didn't want it to end! Emma was just fabulous!

I think this book finally got me out of my reading slump. It was a nice and fluffy rom-com.
I remember that I bought this book at a Walden books😳, how long have they been gone?! I took my then preschool aged cousin to get some books, and he will now be 20 in October and is starting his Sophomore year in college!!😁 This must give all my old unread books sitting on my shelf hope!😂

@rachelsbrittain
Hope you had a nice weekend🌻
1. Can you keep a secret? By Sophie Kinsella
2. Both - morning depends on if I can get up early enough.
3. Probably the book I'm reading now, it's fluffy, hoping it's gonna get me out of my reading slump😔
4/5 ⭐
I really liked this book. It was funny and entertaining.
I'll watch the movie this weekend.
2.5-*maybe* 3 stars, if I were being generous. A quick read when you‘re in need of a light distraction, but Kinsella really needs to strengthen her story endings. Merely okay.
I‘ve got two pink ones for you! Thanks for the tag @maich
I challenge @MidnightBookGirl @Eggbeater to find a green cover. #ispy @HoneyBeeLee
I always love Sophie Kinsella's rom-coms!
No rehearsal, no plans. With a rare night off, I have decided to watch the adaptation of Can You Keep a Secret that came out earlier this year. So far I am envious of the very cool office.
#TheConfession
When her plane hits turbulence Emma confesses everything, yes everything, to the stranger sitting next to her. Of course this handsome stranger turns out to be her boss.

Somehow it was funnier almost 7 years ago.., but there were cute moments :)
Now - movie time!
“Whoever invented corporate family days should be shot,” he says without a flicker of humor.
😂 oh god!
“I don‘t want to be Snow White—” I begin, then break off as I see Moira from Accounts miserably being pushed into a big, shaggy gorilla costume. “OK.” I grab the dress. “I‘ll be Snow White.”
😂😂😂😂😂 I never thought I'll enjoy a rom-com.
Listening to the audible version of this book was like watching a romantic comedy...which is just what I need sometimes! I found myself laughing in my car and at my desk at work. This was a really fun read!
I saw the preview for the movie based on this book and thought it looked like a cute little love story. I was in the mood for something light. This ended up being exactly what I was wanting, a cute little love story.
As most of the (if not all) Sophie Kinsella novels, this one also is a chick lit. I picked it up from a used bookstore. Despite the dreary start, it picked momentum as I turned the pages. Never had I ever read a book this much faster.
P.S.- I have bought four more Sophie Kinsella novels.
Meh. The book did what I thought it would - give me a break from the heavier reading I‘ve been doing. It was fluffy and a bunch of nonsense, and the writing wasn‘t anything mind blowing, but enjoyed the fun idea and silly romance nonetheless!
Don‘t think the movie will be anything like the book (the cast doesn‘t seem to fit the character descriptions in the story)... still, I might enjoy it, since I like the actors in the cast!
Enjoying a #bookandcoffee morning in bed before I start vacation prep-
Leaving later today for Disney World! 🏰🎢👸🏻
📢😮 In today‘s news... I‘ve been upgraded!!!
My BF surprised me with a brand new iPad to replace my dying iPad from 2011! 👵🏻
He specifically mentioned he got it for me thinking that I could use it to read and put all my book apps on it (literally the first thing I did) 🎁📱
Tagged my current Libby read- now on a brighter, better, newer screen!! 😄📖☕️
You guys!!! I just found out that the movie adaptation of this is coming out in November. This book has been on my TBR for a while - just borrowed it, so I can enjoy it before it hits theaters!

Having a little backyard time with my #TomKitten and a comforting old standby. I love a long weekend! #currentlyreading
Read this for my book club. I read it in one sitting and cried twice. If you‘re looking for a romance with a relatable heroine and a happy ending, read this.
@MonthlyBookClub #RomanticScavengerHunt 😊 My book with a red or pink cover choice! I'd recommend this book...its a very fun romantic read! #FebruaryReads #Love #BookNerd #bookworm #booklover #Reading #reader #read
If you‘ve read one Kinsella book, you‘ve read them all. Her formula for writing never strays; her heroines are always adorably clueless, there is usually a wealthy, crush worthy hero and the endings are always neatly tied up pretty, bow and all. Predictability and all, it doesn‘t stop me from picking up book after book of hers and I must say there isn‘t one book of hers that I haven‘t not enjoyed.
It‘s been awhile since I‘ve laughed this much over a book...loved this one! There were a few times I wanted to wring Jack‘s and Emma‘s necks, but overall it was a funny, charming, satisfying romantic comedy...reminded me a bit of Bridget Jones. In a moment of flight panic Emma blurts out ALL of her secrets to a stranger who turns out to be the founder of the company she works for...hijinks ensue! 🤣❤️ 4/5⭐️
