Litsy folks turned me on to the Tournament of Books and now I‘m hooked. I‘ve found some gems from these lists, titles I would never have picked up otherwise. This year, I‘ve read 17 from the list. These pictured are the ones I have access to and will prioritize (loosely) from top to bottom. I had already planned to read the top row and several others. A few I had never heard of!

squirrelbrain I‘m a little disappointed, although it‘s nowhere near as bad as last year‘s shortlist. I wanted some of the more obscure books on there - these are either mainstream or they‘ve been talked about for months already. 🤷‍♀️ 12mo

I read this in prep for Tournament of Books and as my bookspin. It is a dystopian horror story of trans characters hunting feral men and harvesting their organs. It was very disturbing and raw. The author definitely did not hold back. #bookspin #tournamentofbooks @thearomaofbooks

I don‘t completely understand this book, yet I love it. I was all in for the strange world the narrator inhabited, and in trying to follow what it all meant. I need and want to read it again. Another book I would never have gone anywhere near if not for my beloved #tournamentofbooks! #tob22
