2. I moved Orbital back to my to-read, I was excited by others on my TBR, but I do think I‘ll get back to Orbital at some point. No absolute DNF for 2025 yet - that‘s a win!

@dabbe #TLT 🎶 At laaaaast I know more movies that were Oscar picks. I loved the three above but also so many more. I remember being aghast when my kids wanted to go see JoJo rabbit, which I thought made light of Hitler. Then I read an article from an author who talked about the satire and value of it. It was poignant. An f u to fascism, in my opinion, which sadly seems still relevant. It‘s also a forever “I told you so” by my kids.
#WondrousWednesday @Eggs Thank you for the tag @Kshakal

1. Feeling pretty good mentally but fighting a terrible cold and cough.
2. It can be positive or negative. I am on instagram as I follow other knitters, it‘s my yarn Litsy, so to speak. But if I‘m not careful I can go down political rabbit holes 😝
3. Yes, and it is helpful to my productivity and anxiety to put my phone down. Everything is in my phone, including audiobooks so total divorce would be tough.
I had my coffee hours ago but am now relaxing after a busy day working at the library and getting a walk in. Now i can put my feet up with my knitting for the Badger Basketball game as #MarchMadness continues!

Doesn‘t everyone knit socks to match their books? 🤣 there‘s a knitalong encouraging this silliness. It‘s fun, started my next pair. I switched to the audiobook and ended up enjoying the book after struggling to get drawn in by the print version.

#weirdwordwednesday @CBee
I learned this word last week and thought about it Monday when I was walking into the heavy wind. It gave meaning to my walk. 🧘♀️
Just finished. I rushed to Reddit to try to figure out what exactly I just read. Now I wait 18 months+ for the next chapter lol. I was not a fantasy reader and then started working a little at the library - my new co-workers were eating this up! I had to join and damn, I‘m enjoying the sauce. The hype around this book has been palpable.

Somehow I can get to the library embarrassingly early and still sit behind a big furry hat. (It is zero degrees so I‘ll give the lady a pass)That said, it was about the conversation with the author, Nickolas Butler - which was so powerful, vulnerable and just plain cool. He is such a regular guy, I love his work.
#sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern
Sometimes reading magazines or doing what the tagged book implies, read easy breezy romance, can help me clear the deck to get out of the slump. 📚

At my in-laws condo in FL. A perfect spot to enjoy this book, Water by the water. Not a breezy read but so good. I love Boyne and look forward to getting the other three in this series. Do not look forward to going back to snow in a few days - but I‘ve heard there‘s no place like home.

Excellent speaker tonight. If you enjoy hearing an author‘s perspective I encourage you to enjoy the Girlfriend‘s Bookclub on Facebook. It‘s fun to read the books and then see, or hear, behind the curtain. There are wonderful guest authors and compelling questions. I‘m impressed with what is offered in this group and it‘s free - and from my couch. The Lion Women of Tehran was an excellent and rich story of enduring friendship. 5 ⭐️
