My mom got this mug for my sister, my aunt, and I for Christmas. It‘s supposed to look 3d, misses the mark a bit in person, but the pic captures it a bit. They both hate the mug, I don‘t think it‘s bad at all 🤷‍♀️

1- I don‘t set goals they stress me out. I‘d like to be more consistent with #readordonate #readyourkindle and #seasonalcozies

Wes did get several books for Christmas. This one is really good- even dad read for a bit!

Tagged book is the wrong number in the series. I adore this series. Somehow I missed the release of boom 9, but caught it at the release of book 10. The plot line about gave me heart failure which is why I stayed up until 11:30pm finishing it last night 😂

I didn‘t get many book presents for Christmas, but I did get this beauty:)

Wes‘ class did a blind book exchange. This one went right into the donate/sell pile😂 Honestly they‘re 4! But then I realized that some other parent is probably equally annoyed that they got a Sesame Street book with one paragraph per page 😂😂 #raisingreaders

Secret Santa days 1-3

Audio baking yesterday. Idk if it‘s bc I read the first two books and now I‘m listening but I‘m just not digging it. I actively dislike Kira and Ben is fine but not captivating.

Did some audio baking to this today. So far I really dislike the female mc 😂 because I forgot to take a picture enjoy this one from Spaghetti with Santa tonight. The actual Santa visit was not joyous 😂

May regret this, but at least tomorrow is Sunday! Stayed up all night (12:15) finishing this. These characters are just so great. I highly recommend. I wish there were more books to read!

Three Christmases ago Wes fully attached to The Polar Express when we borrowed it from the library. From there came the movie. This year is the second year we‘ve been able to participate in The Polar Express with the National Railroad Museum. Unfortunately grandma was sick this year so only mom and Great Aunt Kay made it. But we got our first successful Santa pic!

I wish this wasn‘t a real quote. He finishes by saying I‘m alive, I‘m vital. Come on George, and Patrick for that matter. #readingwesteros

Not as fleshed out as some of the other novellas, but entertaining nonetheless.

We did Letters from Father Christmas last year, but this year I‘m adding Life and Adventures of Santa Claus :)

Excited to start the Harry Potter baking show!

Hubs and I got to sneak up to the cabin for two days minus the munchkin. It was one of those lovely times where you remember you‘re not just parents 😂we went Black Friday “shopping” at goodwill and he bought me two books :) (for those who don‘t know he‘s not a reader and rarely buys me books lol)

Over this long holiday weekend Wes has the class reading buddies: Peppa and George. Mom will be thankful to get back to scooby doo books 😂

The romance wasn‘t as good, but the mystery was pretty complex!

I usually don‘t tread novellas. But these quick stories about the boys falling in love are just right!

Two great parallel mysteries. One killer I didn‘t see coming and one was a nice sub plot wrap up. These books are funny and engaging, highly recommend.

Thumbs down bc this kind of writing makes me angry- not bc the story was bad. When the kindle died I was stuck for those few hours with what was on my phone. Made the mistake of reading this in a free anthology. Every single (I‘ve read 2) in this anthology ends literally in the middle of the story and refers you to book two of that series. I despise when authors do this. I forgot this happened with the previous book🤦‍♀️

Cute novella in this series. This series is so freaking good. Romance, laughter, hot men- I love it. Check it out!

Pretty sure this was free? Free but good, which was a pleasant surprise when I realized I had to revert to my phone bc cold kills your kindle battery 🤦‍♀️ waterproof but scared of 40 degree weather- do better amazon. My gen 1 was indestructible. I digress. Really robust characters and plot. Medium spice. Very pleasantly surprised.

These just honestly feel like book hugs. Copious sexy time in this one compared to book one.

We‘ve been up north in MI with no cell service since Thursday night so these are all coming at ya! This was such a fun read. Low to no drama, I would term it a cozy romance. Totally get the hype.

Read this at the recommendation of my sister. While I enjoyed it, I don‘t think it was quite what I was expecting- not super romantic. Fun and fast read though.

Parts of this were excellent, parts very very slow. Copious death and I think GRRM might actually hate pregnant women. Freud would have a field day with that. Overall I liked it. The style was different but not bad. #readingwesteros

At 37, I‘ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD. It definitely brings a lot into focus. That being said, with the busiest time of year for us, and trying to figure this out I feel even more scattered than normal lol. Woefully behind on #readingwesteros but I‘ll get there @5feet.of.fury ! Especially now that I found my book 😂🤦‍♀️

I absolutely adored this book! Great settings, great characters. I‘ve already started book two on Everand.

I get caught up to fall behind again 😂 Yesterday we found out our male dog Chappie has a pretty significant skin infection- treatable but expensive. Today was my baby‘s 4th bday 😭 taking a bit of time to myself tonight :)

Hubs got a wild hare up his butt on Monday and decided we were going to completely rearrange the house. It‘s caused a lot of extra work and cleaning but has resulted in this :)
