In case I need reminded, manga is really not my favorite reading genre, but I completely understand the appeal. Just not for me!

I have so much affection for this book. It was my daughter‘s first #manga ever. She‘s no longer interested in manga so I‘ve given away her collection of books except for this one which I‘m saving (and actually reading now). I tried to get my nine-year-old grandson to read it, but he prefers to stick to Dragon Ball Z. 😂

Volumes 1 and 2 cover season 1 of the anime from the 90s. I remember watching that on tv while I tried to put my hair in Usagi‘s buns. The manga is a bit darker, but you don‘t get to spend as much time with the other Sailor Guardians. It is still super fun to finally be reading this! #bookjournal #manga

I loved the Sailor Moon anime series so of course I love the mangas. 1st finished book of 2021! So far I‘m on track with my daily reading & exercising goals. A little over 6 hours left in The Fellowship of the Ring, so I should be done with that one soon too. Making my goals for this year less overwhelming. I read vol 1 and 2 in the last few days, and what a jump back in time it has been!! I watched the anime everyday after school when I was a little girl 💗💗💗

😆Sailor Moon is my heart and my soul. This was the first manga I have ever read, and I love it from the bottom of my heart. My favorite senshi/guardians are Sailors Jupiter 🌷 ⚡, Saturn 🌟 💀 & Neptune 🌊 🎨 if you want to know. I have read this manga at least 10 times, I adore it sooo much 😍!!!

Grabbed a couple new books last night! I‘ve never read a graphic novel before but I loved sailor moon as a kid so it only makes sense that this would be my first choice!

Starting

This was my very first manga and I thoroughly enjoyed it! This volume introduces Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter (I dunno why they skipped Venus). Sailor Mercury has always been my fave, but I‘m leaning towards Sailor Mars, after this manga. Haha. What are some other good mangas to read? Did anyone else have issues at first adjusting to the reading style? Let me know!!😊

I like magical girl stories and that's what this is. Luna the talking cat is my favorite right now. I can see where this can get better, but I wasn't wowed with the first volume. It probably doesn't help that I'm comparing it to Cardcaptor Sakura.

Yup. I bought them all. All I know is it's kind of classic #manga and I think there's a talking cat. Hopefully I won't regret this...

[#MangaReview] Sailor Moon Volume One by Naoko Takeuchi. This was such a nostalgic light read! I am excited to continue both the manga and the show. If you are into magic, girl gangs, a lot of humor, magic cats, and mysterious princesses this could be for you. 🌙

I grew up watching the dubbed version of the show during grammar school and absolutely loved it. Seeing the differences between the show and and manga are great and I can‘t wait to continue on with the series 👸🌙✨

Not normally what I read but I picked it up to see if it was appropriate for my daughter. I enjoyed it so much I ended up buying the rest of the series!

To make this clear - I read Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon tome 1. They're not really well listed on here 😭.. anyhow. I love Sailor Moon, it's been my absolute favorite when I was a child and I still have fond memories of it, and enjoy to watch or read it occasionally. Definitely a recommendation!

I recently got my hands on the first two volumes of Sailor Moon and I absolutely love it!! This volume introduces us to the main characters known as guardians and the search for the Legendary Silver Crystal! Tbh, I have yet to watch the anime so I might watch it in between reading the volumes ☺️

Reliving the childhood

@KennethTolesJr just took me to Barnes & Noble...I was only supposed to get one series...well I don't know how this happened. We came out of there with the biggest bag they had...they all just jumped into the basket...and my arms. ☺️🤓💕📚💕 my husband is amazing!!! 😍 I shall share the additions to my collection later.
