Pneumonia | 
Well, I have pneumonia. 🤒
Have been feeling really under the weather and unable to read for about two weeks. I got slightly worse this morning and went back to the doctor for x rays and yup - bilateral pneumonia.
Fingers crossed all these meds help and I‘m back to work and reading soon.

Kitta @TEArificbooks yes, I‘ve been on steroids a few days and that was helping but the cough got worse so they added some antibiotics today. I feel better at least knowing what it is! 5d

Kitta @BarbaraBB yes I‘m finishing the steroids today, and will be down to just antibiotics, painkillers and cough suppressants. Feeling a bit better than last week, but still a ways to go to recover. 5d
Lesliereadsalot Been there with a diagnosis the day before I was to leave on a trip to Spain with my daughter. You‘ll be fine, rest is the key. Do not over exert yourself! Hoping it will soon be just an icky memory 🩷 5d
Kitta @Lesliereadsalot I was supposed to fly to Canada for our annual St Andrews ball (dinner with haggis and a ceilidh) which is a Scottish celebration with that side of my family and I had to cancel. Couldn‘t fly. Too sick. I‘m sorry you went through this too! 5d
Lesliereadsalot I felt batter about not being able to fly when I read TWO WEEKS LATER that a woman with pneumonia flew on her trip and died on the plane! Lucky we have our doctors, right? 5d
