This book was adorable. Recommend!
A collection of stories from some great YA authors. These stories are all about meet-cutes, but as with any short story collection, I enjoyed some more than others, but none of them were terrible. And these stories are only about the beginnings-you don‘t get the middles or endings. Some people may not like that, but I thought it was enjoyable overall!
#bookspinbingo - this is my #bookspin for this month!
Very excited for my picks this month! #bookspin #doublespin
Short story collections are so hard to review because some were great but others were just meh. Each story was about two people who had a unique experience meeting each other. I liked how you don't know if the relationship lasts, just that sometimes meeting someone can change your life.
I might have liked this in print better. The audiobook was read by a couple different narrators and some were better than others.
This Audre Lorde quote is used in the second story in the excellent collection: "Print Shop" by Nina LaCour.
A bunch of short stories 👍🏽 that stop as soon as you get sucked in 👎🏽 It‘s a collection of beginnings, so really not for someone like me who lives for epilogues. I stopped after the first few stories because the whole set up was too jarring and disappointing to me.
An absolutely adorable collection of stories. I wasn't prepared for some of the sci fi styled ones, and there was a really good mix of queer/non-queer stories.

📚 Summer Days and Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories by Stephanie Perkins :) I seldom read short story books :)
📚 Both, I guess :)

Some of these stories were so cute (looking at you, Nina La Cour) but most were forgettable.

I have seen this book show up in various places over the last few months. I actually almost skipped over it as I just didn‘t think I‘d enjoy a bunch of teenage love stories but to my surprise, I really ended up enjoying almost all the stories. There were a few stories that I didn‘t quite like, but I read every single story and I did not skip over or even skim over any of the stories.

My two favorite stories in this were Jennifer L. Armentrout and Nicola Yoon !
Some days are crap and require a light read and a cup of tea before bed.
Resolution: Just don‘t be so afraid.
You will take chances.
You will find your way.
You will lose opportunities. You will find luck.
You will lose your heart.
He will give you his.
That? You get to keep.
I read the first two stories in this book months ago, and didn‘t enjoy them. I picked it back up last month (because one of my challenges requires me to read two books with the same title, and I‘ve already read another book with the same name) and I loved every other story in it! They were all based on the “meet cute” idea, but they were so different!
I was unsure about how I felt reading stories that were solely “Meet Cutes,” but so far, they are fabulous!
Simply cute! A good palate cleanser, although I dont think I'm a short-story person. Just as I'm invested in the characters, it's over and I'm already supposed to start meet new ones. I wish the audio paused for like a full minute to give you time for reflection, Haha. I would be listening, and then wouldn't realize it was over until a new voice is already starting 😂. The first story, the reality show, and the last one were my faves.

I really enjoyed this short story collection. They were all diverse and unique and the theme in general was just really fun and entertaining. Plus, it has a great collection of authors!
Book two finished for @24in48 . On to the next one!! By the way, this is super cute and a wonderful read full of love stories for everyone. (PS Metar is wiped out) #readathon #24in48
I‘ve had my eye on this book for quite awhile-ever since I saw a student reading it during the school year! I love real life stories and I‘ve heard good things about this one! Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

Short stories. Brief moments in time that leave you wondering what if... about characters you met just pages before. I enjoyed all the stories, some sucked me in more than others, but in each one I felt the excitement and joy, loss and love.
Great to read all at once or as a pallet cleanser. I was introduced to authors I‘ve never read and want to read more of. 4.5 ⭐️

Doing 2+ weeks worth of laundry and finally get to dig into this guy! Perfect for #pridemonth 🌈 #YA #shortstories and ALL the #litsychallenges (cause I can‘t remember which ones this book qualifies for)
1. Haven‘t officially started it- but it‘s what I‘ll open next!
2. Driving my butt from AZ to NorCal to meet my Hubbs for the summer. 😒
3. Since I live in AZ and can grill year round- I wait until the kick off of summer to make my infamous potato salad...
“People feel so much. Love is so big and it leaves behind a crater”
Like every anthology, it has ups and downs, but Meet Cute is an all around sweet read and has great lgbtq+, body, and poc representation.

What else does one do when one can‘t sleep at 4am? Finish one book and nearly finish the other 😅 Happy Friday! (Although Fridays at my work are completely terrible) hopefully it goes fast so the weekend can go slowwwwww😎📚☀️
There wasn't a bad story in this anthology, which is rare... However... I don't feel like most of these stories were actual 'meet cutes'. When I think 'meet cute' I think of awkward exchanges in coffee shops, not bonding over the loss of a beloved family member. It's still a pick, because there were some really great stories... just not really what I was expecting for the most part.
This #anthology made my heart happy. It features a FABULOUS array of authors whose short romances run the genre gamut.
These short stories about people meeting and finding connection were super sweet and fun to read. Definitely leave you wanting more.
That moment when the band you‘ve been waiting for all night comes onto the stage, and their opening chords release something inside of you. I don‘t think there‘s a better feeling in the world. When the bass kicks in, and you can‘t tell if it‘s coming from the speakers or your own heart. And you know everyone else feels the same way, and you‘re all connected by the music 🎶
These stories are sooo great! I want full length books. Bonus point for being so inclusive as well!
10/10 much cute, will surely read again
Starting this for #emojiathon next #booksandbloodies
While not all of tha short stories were my favorite, I found myself really enjoying many of them and wanting to know more about the stories...thats why I usually do not read short stories. Oh well!

Determined to finish this book in the next hour! Somehow my big dog weaseled his way onto the couch with me...and he knows he is not allowed up. But he is so cute and warm so I let him win today!

This was one of my favorite #lovestory #funread that I've had in a long time. It's a collection of short stories that focus on different teenagers and how they meet and fall in love. It definitely made me #emotional at times and most of the stories have #happyendings. If you like young adult, cute romance or sweet stories you'll love this book #popsugarreadingchallenge #multipleauthors #marchinbooks #booksadshelfiesm18
Yes!! This books is incredible. I loved it from the start. The stories are so well put together. It made me laugh and cry. I loved it. That‘s it. 🤣💛
This book was seriously so cute, all of the stories were well-written, cute, diverse, and a great read. I love when google helps me find #similarbooks to read bc that's a big way I also fill my #tbr #readingresolutions #challengecatchup
Charming short stories about teens starting out new relationships. Some were really fun and worlds I wanted to know more about. Great authors and an interesting variety of genres within the YA romance umbrella.
Trying to fit in a story a day from this light fluffy read. Short stories are not usually my thing, but I'm liking this so far!

This was good, but not great. Maybe it‘s just that I‘d find the meet cute a lazy trope and whole book of short stories based on it was too much.
When you‘re trying to be productive... but you just gotta finish that book. 📖♥️
Sometimes all you need to have a good weekend is some yummy food and feel-good stories. “Meet Cute” is an anthology YA short stories. They weren‘t all winners, but some of them were really cute and sweet. Who can resist a library love story?! I don‘t think this is a book that will stock with me, but it was a pleasant diversion on this rainy Sunday.
