Thank you @robinb for tagging me!💕💕
I don‘t have a lot of ‘A‘ books but I did enjoy the tagged one! An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
I love this idea @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks 😍

I saw this on another site and thought it would be fun!!

I recently enjoyed the tagged book! Lots of twists and turns!
4/4 books completed, and so close to finishing the tagged book, but can‘t keep my eyes open another minute. #jubilantjuly @Andrew65
“Every lifetime contains pivot points—sometimes flukes of destiny, sometimes seemingly preordained—that shape and eventually cement one‘s path.”
This one almost made me dizzy trying to figure out all of the twists! I didn‘t love the ending 🤯 but that‘s the way it goes sometimes with psychological thrillers! I would definitely recommend it though if you like psychological thrillers 😱 4🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ohhh this is so good and I‘m so close to finishing it!! BUT 430 am will come too soon!!
Another domestic suspense thriller from these authors! I love that Hendricks‘ and Pekkanen‘s plots are unique and take seemingly mundane characters and situations and make them sinister. Dr. Shields was an interesting psychological study as was the relationship with her husband.
Enjoying a quiet night at home with Friends on in the background!
How are you spending your Friday night?! 📚
I think my mind is still reeling from Rock Paper Scissors and I can‘t get into Book Lovers 😫 I‘m going to mix it up a bit!
What psychological thrillers have you read lately and would recommend? 🖤
This is next on my radar and I hope this dynamic duo of authors are sure to please!
This was good.
Jess sneaks into a study on morality lead by psychiatrist Dr Shields. Jess suspects there‘s more than DrS discloses, 1st she stays for the $$. But DrS knows her darkest secrets.
Jess was a very relatable character. The plot did meander. I called a couple of the twists and then wondered why it took a BIT to get to the reveal. But it was very immersive and creepy since it‘s told both from the perspective of Jess and Dr. Shields.

Day off, just saw Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. The Boyfriend is going to see Weird Al and I‘m trying to do all the things I like at once 👍already stopped of at Barnes & Noble so mini-haul post to follow.
Happy Fridayyyy
This was just okay for me. I‘m caught up on the Hendricks/Pekkanen books. I like them because they‘re not what everyone else is writing, but maybe there‘s a reason for that. 🤔
Jess is subject 52 in a study on morality run by a psychologist, but when the doctor brings her deeper in and uses Jess‘s confidences against her, she‘ll have to figure out what really is at the heart of this study.
This wraps up #MysteryMarch!
When Jessica signs up for a psychology study conducted by the mysterious Dr Shields, she thinks all she‘ll have to do is answer a few questions, collect her money and leave. But as the questions grow more and more invasive, she begins to feel as though they know what she‘s thinking . . . and what she‘s hiding.
A slow burn suspense, decent but a little predictable
1) Listening to the tagged title and Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins. Reading (still!) Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff.
2) Hot pot- warm comforting meal with family and friends.
3) A few titles come to mind: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, The Sisters of the Winter Wood by Rene Rossner, and The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert.
#WeekendReads @rachelsbrittain
Started off strong but kind of fizzled out to me. Jessica becomes a participant in a psychological study which promises a lot of money (red flag). The seemingly perfect (red flag) Dr. Shields in charge of the project seems to have a magnetic hold on Jessica. Jessica‘s family is in need if $ so even when the requests of the study become more and more bizarre, she agrees. Meh
This was a very slow burn, but it kept me interested enough to keep going. I liked it, but I didn‘t love it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It‘s easy to judge other peoples choices.
I‘m only a few pages into this novel but it‘s interesting so far and I‘ve seen a few good reviews so looking forward to getting stuck in!

This was good. A bit predictable, I figured out most the twists. A woman in need of money sneaks into a psychology study that ends up being about morality. The doctor in charge of the study finds her interesting and uses her in her own twisted morality research.
This was a quick and easy suspense/thriller. The audiobook was well done with two narrators. I thought I had figured out the plot but the twists kept coming. I‘d give it 3.75 stars overall, rounded up to 4.
Picked up a package from the post office today which had my #LMPBC book from last round as well as this extra book from my TBR that @magyklyXdelish sent along with it!!
Thank you so much! I am very excited to read this. You know how much I like thrillers! 💙
MARCH READS! Only did 1.5 in feb but let‘s blame that on the short month 😜
Jessica takes the place of someone and signs up for a study on morality and ethics. But she is drawn into Dr. Shields world in ways she never imagined. How much can someone influence another person? What can be done in the name of "science "? The ending was unexpected
Definitely recommend

A psychologist conducting a study on morality and ethics with a twist. ⭐️⭐️⭐️+
Great read. Creepy and suspensful. Really enjoyed this book. The character development of Jess was great and there were so many twists and turns. A definite read. 📖😁🤓
An effortless page turner, this one grabbed me from the start and wouldn‘t let go. Disturbing, devious and so cleverly written, the relationship lines between the unreliable narrators and unlikable characters quickly blurred making it difficult to figure out who was predator and who was prey in this twisted game of cat and mouse. I gobbled this one up in one sitting. Fans of Riley Sager, B.A. Paris and Lisa Jewell will enjoy this one.
I was a pretty big fan of “The Wife Between Us” but this one was disappointing. It‘s set up well in the beginning but it‘s ultimately a slow paced book with no real pay off at the end. I give it a 3 for keeping me interested enough to want to know what happens but I wouldn‘t read it again.
@TheAromaofBooks this is one of my #bookspinbingo books, I‘ll make a post tomorrow with a pic of my bingo board ☺️

After finishing the authors‘ debut novel, The Wife Between Us, I immediately put this novel on my library request list. I was not disappointed. In fact, I liked this one even better than their first. This novel is based on an intriguing premise and has layers and layers of surprises. I highly recommend this book!
Jessica is a 20 something living from paycheck to paycheck as a makeup artist in NYC until she happens upon an opportunity to be part of a paid psychlogical study. It's through there she meets Dr. Shields, who invites her to continue in more studies for even more money. It seems like a lucrative, win-win partnership. Jess needs to trust Dr. Shields, right? Wrong. This book is full of suspense. I recommend if you want to be on edge until the end.
This book is beyond messed up, but in a good way. I'd call it a psycho-thriller. I have no idea what is going to happen next. I think this is one of the few books that has had me seriously on edge. And yes, the picture is related to the plot. 😂
Oof, really not a fan of this. Not sure why I even listened to it all the way through, honestly. The plot made no sense to me, there wasn‘t any suspense, and it was way too long. Bah.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I really enjoy psychological thrillers, and this one did not disappoint!
Any of these look good?
Oh boy, this book took me by surprise! It exceeded my expectations in every way - the plot, characters and writing - were astounding!

This book didn‘t grab me at first but started to pick up in the middle. Once that happened I wanted to get reading to see what twists and turns it would take.

Hated it. But I will say that this book is really front-loaded, meaning the beginning really draws the reader in, but by the middle of it, one is just reading to discover the highly predictable ending. I tend to love psychological suspense novels—used to read loads of the Alex Delaware novels by Jonathan Kellerman—so I couldn‘t wait to get to this one. The MC is a a clinical psychologist as well as a ⬇️
I kept waiting for some big twist they never happened. The story was fairly predictable and dull in places.
This was a good psychological thriller. Solid 4 🌟
