A year in the whirlwind life of the beloved pop icon Andy Cohen, in his own cheeky, candid, and irreverent wordsAs a TV Producer and host of the smash late night show Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen has a front row seat to an exciting world not many get to see. I love a memoir. And I guilt watch reality tv housewives. Thought this would be interesting. About a quarter in I was mildly intrigued and thought something was about to hook me. Halfway through I thought is this all this book is? It‘s a self-indulgent day by day of someone‘s privileged life with not a ton of gratitude and lot of activity hopping. I was half through so I didn‘t bail though. I would be we read it again.

marleed It was one I read and quickly passed on, as well - disappointing because I‘m otherwise entertained by Andy Cohen. 14mo

I love a Manhattan setting, think Andy Cohen is a hoot, and laughed at parts of this. In one year‘s time Andy connected with many mostly famous friends & colleagues, as well as family. I can‘t get to a pick here because it‘s a lot - a lot - of name dropping. Even his beloved dog has famous dog friends! It reads more like his 2013-14 calendar than a diary. That said, I‘m now curious about the Andy Warhol Diaries.

marleed @Reagan There‘s really nothing of value rather than an occasional chuckle in this book for me. But I love to thrift for books so it will be fun trying to find Andy Warhol- or, it is available from my library download today! (edited) 4y

marleed @LapReader it‘s so much easier for me to purge thrifted books than books I pay full price for. I‘m trying to limit my full price purchases to 5 star library reads that I just want to physically own. My exception being a few authors that are just fun for me to prepay for - but that typically comes with a happy discount! 4y

Oh I tried but I just can‘t. I am just about halfway and dreading reading it. I really liked his memoir and I love the Andy Warhol Diaries but I was hoping for more celebrity gossip and less about his dog pooping. I think this is only for die hard fans.

The Real Housewives franchise has been a guilty pleasure of mine since 2008. Unfortunately, reading (or listening) to Andy's diary was a waste of time and it was definitely juvenile. I just CAN'T with this book. 😩😩 Sorry, Andy!

I like Andy Cohen. I get what he was going for here; unfortunately, he missed the mark. There's no humor or insight - it's just 343 pages of name-dropping and neuroses. If I'd wanted that, I could have just called my ex.

Guys, don't hate because I'm bringing some lowbrow swagger-this is the first book I could concentrate for after having a baby. Sorta fun to vicariously live AC's life, but wear close-toed shoes so you don't get hurt from the gratuitous name dropping!
